Submit ReviewThe Quicky will be back with new episodes from January 15, but until then here’s one of our favourite episodes of this year. Thank you so much for being a part of The Quicky in 2023.
2023 saw 11 shark attacks in Australia, 3 of them fatal.
In February, 16 year old Stella Berry was bitten and killed by a bull shark in Perth's Swan River. It's the first shark fatality for Australia in 2023, and the first in The Swan River in a century.
We all know there are sharks in ocean. We all know that they are dangerous predators. But do you know what to do when confronted with one?
In this episode of The Quicky, we speak to a man who was bitten by a shark not far from the same spot that Stella Berry was killed. We also hear from a shark safety diver who works with sharks every day, about what not to do if you come face to face with one of the oceans deadliest hunters.
