Ben Simmons took the court for the first time as a Brooklyn Net, joining Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving as the big three. There was definitely some rust to start things off which was to be expected considering Simmons hadn’t played in more than a year and these were the first live minutes for this group. The Nets ended up losing and Philadelphia was playing without Joel Embiid and James Harden.
