Submit ReviewStamford Chidge & Jonathan Kydd are joined by Marco Worrall & Dan Silver to look back on an eventful week in the annals of Chelsea FC culminating in a fighting 2-2 draw against Liverpool.
On the show tonight, in part one, we look at Mane’s assault on Azpi, a familiar story of poor finishing and worse defensive lapses and an unfamiliar story of a Kovacic worldy and a Pulisic goal and a great fighting performance by Chelsea for Tuchel.
In part two we applaud the midfield axis of Kante and Kovacic; does Pulisic’s goal signal a return to form? And after another superb performance in goal by Mendy, we ask how much Chelsea will miss him while he’s away at AFCON.
In part three we have the results of this week’s Fannies for the Liverpool match; answer some questions from Discord and we have some emails to read out and as a couple of them are on the Romelu Lukaku issue, we’ll discuss it in detail then.
In part four we round up the show with our preview of the Chelsea v Spurs Carabao Cup semi-final 1st leg on Wednesday night.
