added nearly two dozen Russian airlines to its safety-based blacklist. The EU says the airlines have been operating their aircraft without valid airworthiness certificates, creating a safety risk.

expire at the end of July.
US airlines may owe EU261 compensation in certain cases
An EU court has ruled US airlines may owe passengers EU261 compensation for delays in limited circumstances.
