Submit ReviewThis week, Catt welcomes New York Times-bestselling author Glennon Doyle to her virtual bedroom. A MUST-listen episode as Glennon, who most recently wrote the lauded Untamed, shares her own ongoing journey of learning how to best support, celebrate and stand-up for Black women in this country.
She gets extremely candid about her personal history, sharing how she grew up in a conservative town in Virginia and developed an eating disorder and alcohol addiction at a young age. Glennon also opens up about why falling in love with her now-wife -- Olympic gold medalist soccer player, Abby Wambach -- was not all sunshine and roses.
Glennon's also a big proponent of embracing your feelings (we second that!), and making a concerted effort to address your privilege, do the research and be ready to listen when you come to the table as an ally for Black women. Also in this episode, Catt acknowledges how much she has to learn about racial injustice in America -- and her role in battling it.
