Australia's foreign aid budget has fallen dramatically in the last 30 years, and in last week's federal budget, the government committed 0.19% of one-percent of its annual gross national income to foreign aid.

It was a small rise from last year, but despite it Australia still ranks as one of the lowest countries in the OECD.
