• Exclusive: Two million Australians listen to podcasts daily, according to a new survey: PodPoll 24, which will be fully revealed tomorrow. The data, from Deadset Studios and Insightfully, contains a lot of useful data about the types of show people want to hear, and also reveals:
  • Two in five people (44%) sample new shows every month.
  • Apple Podcasts has slumped to third “preferred podcast app” in the country, after Spotify (58%) and YouTube (30%).
• Blubrry has launched Pod2Vid, a tool that converts podcasts into video - perfect for uploading to video platforms. The tool is available to all users on the Thrive bundle. It comes after the launch of Vid2Pod in March.

• Before We Go has been announced. The podcast, which is launched on Oct 8, is the story of Dr. Shoshana Ungerleider, an Academy Award Nominated Film Producer, Founder of End Well, and TED Health host - and her father, Steven Ungerleider, who was diagnosed with terminal cancer in 2022.
• What happens if "I don't want to vote for either candidate?" Beyond Voting, hosted by Emily Williams, is a new limited-series podcast from The Arcus Center for Social Justice Leadership at Kalamazoo College, and digs into the critical issues central to the 2024 election cycle.
• Inside Dora's Amazing Adventures is Dora's Aventuras, a musical podcast with songs in English and Spanish from Nickelodeon.
