Let’s start with his stats in two games with the Browns: 24-of-33 passing for 249 yards and a TD. 

Rookie defensive end Alex Wright was one of the few standouts on defense for the Browns early in the game. The third-rounder has been impressive during training camp and in the scrimmages against the Eagles. Wright is an Alabama-Birmingham product who is quick at 6-foot-5 and 267 pounds. The front office was excited when drafting him and everything they’ve seen so far makes them believe he can develop into a starter in time. During their scrimmages with the Eagles, the Browns defensive line had problems defending inside runs...and that was the case in this game. 

Kicker Cade York. Fifty yards. Good. No problem. He kicked that ball at FirstEnergy Stadium with the same confidence and authority as he has during camp in Berea. Later in the game, he missed a 55-yarder, but not by much. The kick hit high on the upright. If York continues to kick like this, he will be a major asset for a team that probably will play a lot of low-scoring games with Deshaun Watson suspended early in the season.
