Ellen Bennett, founder of Hedley & Bennett, has never followed a conventional path. Guided by optimism, Ellen firmly believes in showing up first and then figuring the rest out later. Deeply honest and known to drop the occasional F-Bomb, Ellen is a leading example that there is not just one path to success in life and business.

After attending culinary school in Mexico City, Ellen returned home to LA. To get professional experience, Ellen busted her way into some of the best kitchens in LA until she eventually became a line cook at a two-star Michelin restaurant. Around the same time, the concept for an apron business began bubbling in her head. It is this concept that ultimately led to the formation of Hedley & Bennett, the leading provider of aprons and kitchenware for top chefs everywhere.  Although Ellen has faced ups and downs along the way, her passion and purpose have inspired her to keep going down the path less traveled.
