Brandon Rust said he'd be back- and here he is! The prolific Oklahoma breeder and cultivator (check out Black Label Organics) picks up right where he left off as he continues to explore and review common organic nutrient inputs. Brandon extrapolates on the input azomite, and explains why he doesn't include such a broad spectrum nutrient in his garden. This leads to a conversation about antagonistic nutrients, and how adding more of one input can end up locking out a very important element like phosphorous for instance. The conversation turns towards contaminants, and Brandon gives his thoughts on things like heavy metals, where they come from, how cannabis accumulates them, and how to tie them up and make them inert in your own soil. Jordan and Brandon also discuss microplastics, and the fairly new discoveries of plastic consuming microbes.
