This week the guys check out two films considered poor enough that they were either pulled entirely from an Australian cinematic release or delayed said release by more than three months after appearing in American theatres.
First up, it's The Dead Don't Die, and shocker(!), Wayne refused to see it. Though not because it was a zombie film, but rather because it's directed by Jim Jarmusch. Paul bravely takes on the challenge by himself. Was he pleased to have made such a sacrifice? Or does Wayne get the last laugh?
That review is largely spoiler-free, but the one for Anna, which both boys saw, quickly devolves into spoiler territory. And that probably tells you everything you need to know about the film, as Luc Besson proves he doesn't have an original bone left in his body.
Which is the better film? And does it really matter? Find out as The Countdown continues ...
Time Stamps:
The Dead Don't Die VIRTUALLY SPOILER-FREE Review: 1:06 - 7:25
