Well, folks it is that time where the pod turns its gaze on Seagal biggest commercial and critical hit the 1992 effort "Under Siege." Listen as hosts Scott Murphy and Kyle Hintz deep dive (pun entirely intended) into this one and find a more standard action narrative than normal but that does not mean we go totally without some Seaglian quirks (thank goodness!) . They also enthuse about the films great central villain pairing of Tommy Lee Jones and Gary Busey, are very entertained by the central absurdity of Casey Ryback being a cook with a mysterious CIA past (because how would we know it was a Seagal character without him having a mysterious CIA past!) and are generally infuriated by Ryback's comic relief sidekick Jordan (Erika Eleniak).

Elsewhere, in the episode Scott and Kyle marvel at how Tom Breaker (Nick Mancuso) keeps his job at the CIA by the end of the movie as well as equally marvelling at Seagal's attempts at conveying. Plus, they make the case for this flick being the greatest Die Hard rip-off of them all!!
