In today’s episode, we take a bit of a different approach. We’ve talked about making tacos but from the truck’s perspective. Today we tell you a little bit about the food the truck used to bring home.

This episode was inspired because I remember what my friends would say every time they would come over to eat. And that was, “Dude, where did you get this food - from what restaurant?”

My friends did not realize that my mother would make this food and that it was from the food truck’s day’s run. Whatever did not sell, we’d eat at home. There was always something good coming home.

So we got used to eating that way. It was not traditional. Some of my friends would get home from school, and their moms would have dinner waiting for them. One could say that's traditional.

Nah, not us. My mother would make all these great meals, but they weren’t for us at home. The food was for the business. But we got lucky because whatever would not sell, we would enjoy ourselves at home.
