The BBC's Grand Culture Tour of the five remaining places hoping to become UK City Of Culture 2021 is visiting Paisley today - as part of BBC Radio Scotland's special day of programming, Gillian Russell and the Personal Best team will be finding out how much of a sense of community there is among the locals there... Dr Kirsty Miller, researcher from the University Of Dundee, has been studying what it means to be part of a community and says it has a bigger impact on our health than quitting smoking. Paisley local Annie McGuire visits the town's RMAH Culture Club to find out how much of a sense of community and belonging the regulars feel there. Douglas Peacock, founder of the North Kelvin Meadow, describes how a shared vision to restore a local greenspace has created a feeling of togetherness and community for the locals. Psychologist and author of Who Are You, Really? Brian Little explains how our personalities are shaped not just by our genes and our experiences but also by our personal projects, dreams and aspirations.
