Submit ReviewIn 2018 Dorien Cramer cycled solo from Singapore back to her home in the Netherlands. She had no plan of where to go and how long she would be on the road. Only that she wanted to explore and see how and where other people live.
With a tent and a stove in her panniers, she had everything she needed to go wherever she wanted. In China she reached the highest point of her trip on 4,807 meters altitude. There were also lows. In Malaysia she witnessed the logging of rainforest and in Kazakhstan she ate horse brain at a wedding reception.
Sometimes her experiences were so difficult she thought of giving up and taking a train back home. However, she managed to continue and after 15 months and 20,477km, she reached the doorstep of her parents house on Christmas Eve.
