Episode 8 of the Abilities at Work podcast showcases the Disability Employment Awareness Month (DEAM), which is celebrated in September in British Columbia, and in October across the rest of Canada and in the United States of America. We talk about what it is, why it's important, and how employers and supported employment service providers can get involved.

On today’s episode we feature Mary Beshai, who serves as Director of MentorAbility Canada at the Canadian Association for Supported Employment, and Ashley Hammond, who serves with Avalon Employment and leads the MentorAbility Canada initiative for Newfoundland and Labrador and Prince Edward Island.
