On the 20th. of April, 2019, the UFC put on their UFC on ESPN+ 7 event on ESPN+ from St. Petersburg, Russia, so we had some early morning and afternoon fights to watch here in the states. The event featured a heavyweight bout between former title contender, Alistair ‘The Demolition Man’ Overeem, with a 44-17-0, 1 NC record against Oleksiy ‘The Boa Constrictor’ Oleinik, with a 57-11-1 record, whose last two wins occurred in Round 1. Also of note on the card was a women’s flyweight bout between Valentina Shevchenko and Bloody Elbow’s own contributing author, Roxanne Modafferi (whom we were all rooting for).
