Submit ReviewTaman Jurong is one of the oldest residential precincts in Singapore, developed in 1964 for the workers and families of the industrial areas nearby. When you're hungry, there are two traditional eateries in Taman Jurong.
The Market and Food Centre is busy in the day when the market is open, and in the evenings, food stalls serving tasty fare.
The other place is a coffee shop, called S11, which is located in the old Taman Jurong Cinema building. All the stalls are on the first floor which is open-air. Fans keep the air moving so you don't get too warm. The Zi Char stall has tables outdoors, where food, drink, and conversations flow freely.
