Most coaches I talk to do this once a year, maybe. I recommend doing this at least once a week. Trust me, if you don't know exactly where you're going, you'll never get there. We wouldn't just glance at a map once and drive for seven days straight without ever peeking at the map. We need to make sure we're headed in the right direction and readjusting our route if need be.

How do you get clarity? It's fair to say that it really doesn't matter how much passion or energy you have; if we don't know where we're headed or how to get there, we ain't ever getting there! So I thought instead of making today's podcast episode an information-centered episode, I'd make it more of an actionable 'coaching' session. So we can help solve the biggest problems most coaches (and humans) face. Which is: no vision, no clear direction, and a lack of a true 'why'. Luckily it's not 'technically' that hard to get clarity. The clarity that we seek and all the answers are already within us. The hard part usually lies in actually taking the time to sit down, ask ourselves some questions, and do the work to come up with the answers.
