The War Without, The War Within. As the crew returns to their own universe, Burnham must come to terms with what is left of Tyler-and she seems to be having more difficulty than the rest of the crew. Meanwhile, Stamets concocts a plan to replenish Discovery’s spore supply and Admiral Cornwell changes the command structure of the ship as part of a new strategy to win the war against the Klingons.

In this episode of The Edge, host Brandon-Shea Mutala is joined by sociology professors and Star Trek experts John and Maria Jose Tenuto to discuss the fourteenth episode of Star Trek: Discovery, “The War Without, The War Within.” We also discuss Project Genesis, forced mind-melds, and astronomical units.
