Welcome to Day 11 of #29DaysofMagic! I am super excited to have Shanice Gipson, VML Technical Specialist. We talk about her first job as a painter for her school district. She talks about why she likes painting rooms so much. She shares how because someone asked her to update a website she realized she loved writing code, and went to do a full stack boot-camp and right after she shares her incredible story to getting to work at VML. She talks about how if she doesn't know the answer she knows how to get the answer. We talk about how incredibly resourceful black women are to be able to figure out everything we need to to get things done, and how coding with it's unknowns is a huge challenge that Shanice is still working through.
