Submit ReviewI am super excited to hear Pauline Malcolm-Thornton's amazing story for #29DaysofMagic! She is the CRO of Essence. We talk about how she had an internship with Kraft Foods from age 16 all the way through college. We discuss about how as Pauline got managerial and leadership roles she inherited teams that didn't look like her, and the nuances associated with working with teams like that. We talk about her role as Essence Ventures as CRO & developing a best in class media company that is black owned. We talk about how Pauline is building a billion dollar company for and by black women. Pauline infuses her culture and being comfortable with doing that in business.
