God wants you to have a good life. Remember though, when you ask God to heal you or another, a return to physical health may follow if it will be beneficial to your salvation or the sick person’s salvation.  To be honest, the message of healing and salvation is not primarily found in the external act of having physical ailments cured, but rather in the communion with the one who is salvation himself, Jesus Christ.
