In recent years as reflected by the clean sweep in 2018 by the Norwegian Triathlon men, Norway has really positioned itself as such a strong force in the world of Triathlon and endurance sporting community. Kristian Blummenfelt, former featured performer of the show episode 117, in fact holds the fastest time ever recorded 70.3 triathlon with a sweltering 329:04 set in 2019.
During this episode Arild shares around his three guiding endurance training principles and they are why training at high volume is required for endurance sporting success paying attention to the density distribution of that training workload and recovering well are the key.
