This week, Aislene and Gracie discuss The Road to El Dorado. It's a story about two Spaniard con artists who get mistaken for gods in the fabled city of gold, El Dorado. With aspects of Mayan and Aztec culture, we talk about what implications and stereotypes were used for the first nations shown, and also discuss the allusions made about the fate of some of the other characters. Also, why doesn't this movie have a sequel? Enjoy! --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/the-feminist-critique/support
