Prelude to Axanar.

Whom the gods would destroy they first make mad. So says an ancient Greek proverb, and such is what happened to Garth, the legendary Fleet Captain who we first see in the Original Series episode "Whom Gods Destroy." What events in Garth's life led to this, and how did he become a man of Starfleet legend? This is the story that the independent film Star Trek Axanar aims to tell, and it all begins with the forthcoming short "Prelude to Axanar."

In this episode of Continuing Mission we're joined by Axanar creator and producer Alec Peters for an update on the project's development, more information on the format of "Prelude to Axanar" and the production timeline, and some exciting news about casting, which includes the addition of Battlestar Galactica's Michael Hogan to a cast that already includes Richard Hatch, J.G. Hertzler, and Gary Graham, who is reprising his role as Soval from Enterprise.
