Kim grew up in Baton Rouge and has always had a heart for education. After a brief stint in speech therapy, she found her calling at the intersection of education and technology. Pushing a few envelopes, she brought tech into the classrooms in West Feliciana with such a splash that it caught the attention of Apple and that was just the beginning. Her intrigue with using tech in learning launched her down the path of STEM — Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics — which she has devoted herself to studying and promoting in schools all across Louisiana.In this episode we take a nitty-gritty look at cutting edge educational methods such as White Water Learning, Project-Based Learning and STEM Ecosystems that will raise up the next generations of innovators and what we can do as a community to get there.
