We have an exciting episode for you all today! We recently read the book Atomic Habits by James Clear and our minds were blown! This book has been on our radar for some time and what better time to sit down and share our thoughts than at the start of a new year.

Starting a New Year will prompt many of us to think about resolutions, but we pushed your thinking with our first episode by having you instead focus on building habits. Since then, we have always understood the importance of building effective habits. So when we learned about James Clear’s book Atomic Habits, we knew this would align directly with what we believe.

In this episode we are going to share things that resonated with us, our biggest takeaways, and how we are planning to implement tips and strategies moving forward. So grab a drink, go for a walk or put your airpods in while cleaning because this is going to be an episode to remember.

In this episode you will:

  • Learn the four laws to building habits: Make it obvious, make it attractive, make it easy, make it satisfying.
  • Building habits is about identifying the person you want to become.
  • Improvements are only temporary until they become who you are.
  • Habit formation is the process by which a behavior becomes progressively more automatic through repetition. The more you repeat the more your brain makes this into a habit.
  • “Goals are about the results you want to achieve. Systems are about the processes that lead to those results.”
  • SO MUCH MORE!

GRAB THE BOOK!
