Most often, that comes about by building exceptional teams. However, sometimes it comes from individuals who are polymaths; they study different areas and find ways to bridge their knowledge into genuine innovation. One of the areas where this is becoming evident is in the medical sciences.

Our guest for the next two episodes is Dr. Jonathan Sackier. Jonathan is an experienced executive leader, physician, entrepreneur, and inventor. He trained in Britain as both a pilot and surgeon. He helped pioneer the laparoscopic surgery revolution. Jonathan has been a founding partner of several successful start-ups in the medical technology industry, recognized as an industry leader in bringing innovative products from bench to bedside, such as AESOP, and a valued member of the team that developed the world's first operating room robot with Computer Motion. With his team of experts, Jonathan patented non-invasive technology to heal brain trauma, and advancements in stem cell technology to improve quality of life.

Jonathan has earned two Honorary Professorships from Oxford University and the National Hepatobiliary and Enteric Surgery Research Center in the Peoples Republic of China Global Business Relations. He has launched and facilitated business growth in the GCC, Australasia, India, Russia, and Europe. He's also an esteemed Global Chief Medical & Health Officer Network member.

Jonathan has a reputation for leading with the voice of the patient. He serves as Medical Counsel to the Aircraft Owners & Pilots Association (AOPA). On top of that, he speaks internationally. Jonathan is the host of the EMJ-Health podcast.
