Dr. Jenny Fagel, internal medicine physician, shares her journey of growing up in Delaware, her path into medicine, and her new career helping fellow Asian Americans discover theirs best selves with her life coaching practice The Grown Up Asian, which she co-founded with fellow physician Dr. Kathleen Wang

Meet Jenny!Dr. Jenny Fagel is an Internal Medicine doctor, life coach, wife, and mother to two toddlers living in New Jersey.  As a Filipina-American, she spent her whole life making sure she looked “good on paper” - i.e. the medical degree, a long list of extracurricular activities and plenty of accomplishments under her belt.  While thankful for her opportunities, Jenny also struggled internally with finding her true purpose.  It was only after she completed her medical training and became a physician did she finally slow down and start to look within.  Jenny sought help from a physician life coach which allowed her to clarify her values and truly live for her own purpose and not anyone else’s.  She is now passionate about helping young Asian American women overcome their own harsh inner critics in order to step into the shining light where they belong.
