Anthony Tran’s parents left Vietnam four years after the war. His family was adopted by an American family, and soon joined a large Vietnamese community in Garden Grove, California Mentors have always been key in Anthony’s life, beginning with his father and community.  The most important mentor was his dad, from whom Anthony learned dedication, patience, loyalty, and to treat others the way he wanted to be treated. From his community he learned to respect elders, respect others, respect yourself, and to respect the environment.  A simple tradition like removing one’s shoes before entering a house, carried meaning. It’s not simply to 'not bring dirt in from the outside', but to be courteous and show that one is aware of the environment. Anthony from a young age decided to enter the U.S. Air force, where he studied logistics. Taking those skills Anthony joined the corporate world where he worked as an operations executive. In an effort to share more time with his family, Anthony made an entrepreneurial leap. He studied online marketing for two years, and then made a courageous leap by quitting his job without savings and focusing full time on providing marketing services to others.  He hired media experts like Cliff Ravenscroft to learn technology and John Lee Dumas to learn business skills. Anthony quickly differentiated himself in a number of positive ways, for example, making a 20 second video of himself and sending it to any new acquaintance. Today, Anthony runs Marketing Access Pass, an internet marketing company that offers hundreds of free videos on his website, to demonstrate his ability to provide a menu of services that includes email marketing, social media, and opt-in pages. It demonstrates the philosophy he learned from his father to give first, to appreciate others and their contribution. It takes concentration to focus on how to add value to others first, but in the long run, Anthony has received more in return.
