  • Astoundingly funny and mega mindfucky but incredibly well put together and completely engaging and captivating

I've really enjoyed The Infinite Bad from the very start. There is a fair amount of graphic horror (as graphic as radio can be) and mindfuckery about all the time but this doesn't overshadow anything. You never feel as though it's too much. The characters are so well played by some fantastic players and all 4 players feel like the compliment each other so well. You couldn't imagine the podcast without any of them or them to be any different. Eleanor Koller as Dorothy Taylor plays the part of the trainee physician well and with her American wit, often compliments well with Sebastian's idiocy to bring the dynamic of the group to another level. She often works with Joy to bring the group some sense in making decisions, mostly stopping Sebastian inevitably killing himself. Charlie May as Joy really plays the part of the adopoted daughter of Cornelia brilliantly and is often the sensible voice of the group. David Knight as Sebastian St Battenburg is so unashamedly blunt and funny. To me, he is the star of the podcast. At times, you'll find yourself shouting "NO SEBASTIAN! DON'T DO IT!" which often lead Sebastian to hilarious consequences. The dynamic between himself and Cornelia often results in some brilliant exchanges and sometimes physical abuse from Cornelia. Maxamillian John as Cornelia Cavendish feels initially a bit weird but he settles so well into the character, it feels like Cornelia is the star of the show. Also the blatant selfish upper classness of her, attitiude often has hilarious consequences. Between each of the series, a tri-series of episodes is released weekly documenting Cornelia's investigations into the occult, which themselves could be a podcast of their own but they turn out to be so funny and at times a welcome break from the horrors that manifest themselves in the main series. All of this is incredibly well written by the brilliant Giorgio Mariani. The locations feel real (because they are) and broad. They feel like you are a part of the adventure and experiencing it as if you were there. Each location is thoroughly researched and meticulously planned as if to not let anything feel wrong or out of place. I look forward to a new episode every week and every single time, it never disappoints. Please check it out. Your life will be better for it <3
