In this episode, Mike Yard, and Carla Keyz try to stay on Luna Tee’s good side while she’s Hangry! Get that girl a snicker’s bar!
The Yard finds out that many Agent Orange supporters are mistaking LeVar Burton, for LaVar Ball! First, Number 45 says LaVar Ball didn’t appropriately thank him for getting Ball’s son out of trouble, now, Mike says Ball should apologize to “Mr. Reading Rainbow”, LeVar “Kunta” Burton himself, for not representing the name well.
Contrary to what Luna found on the internet, Bruce Willis is not a Trump Supporter! She found this misinformation on Google’s ad network, making it seem credible, but it’s all a hoax. Carry on with supporting the non-trumpie.
The Yard discusses comics going too far to be edgy, but Mike understands that it’s a part of being a comic. When it’s done right, it kills, like Chappelle’s “He saves more than he rapes” joke. Does this help, or hurt society? Is it just jokes, or do the jokes expose the inner voices of people?
Girl Scouts encourage parents to not force inappropriate affection from young girls towards others, including family members, as a way to educate on consent and physical affection, all while promoting self respect. Do you think it’s problematic to teach your daughter to hug and kiss family members after they arrive to the home, or as a thank you after receiving a gift? Do you think the Girls Scouts members are taking this out of context?
You know what it is...sex, politics, and all the messy stuff in between.
IT'S YARD TALK, BAAAABYYYY!!!
