Hello and welcome once again to the ProTipster Sports Betting Podcast, Sports Betting Podcast, 22 March 2018
Today it’s all about the upcoming International Friendlies and we have some lower league shenanigans and NHL bets for you too.
Who doesn’t love an international friendly? OK, so most of us don’t but with the FIFA World Cup in Russia fast approaching this set of international friendly fixtures are chockablock with talking points. How will England fair against the new look Netherlands under Ronald Koeman and a vastly different Italy under caretaker coach Luigi Di Biagio. Both manager inherited teams that were in complete and utter disarry following their collective failrures to qualify for the World Cup and now both are tasked with getting their countries back into the Top 10 footballing nations around the world, restore some pride and get them back playing football as they used to. It’s going to be a tough job for both managers and with both injecting some badly needed youth into the squads time will tell how they get on.
Best Sports Betting Podcasts
Argentina take on Italy where Argentina manager Jorge Sampaoli will be looking to iron out any crack he has in his team. Paulo Dybala has not travelled with the squad meaning Sampaoli will get to test out his Plan B tactic for his games against England and Italy.
Germany are taking on Spain in what should be a great match. Germany boss Jogi Low has said he’ll play a full-strength starting XI against the Spaniards and a second string against Brazil next week; although that could be a motivation technique of his.
Turkey take on Ireland too with both squad full of fresh face and youth as both manager set about rebuilding their teams are failing, yet again, to qualify for a World Cup.
Sports Betting Podcast, 22 March 2018
We take a look then at some action going on in the lower league around Europe and we have some tips from the English tiers, some games of note from Serie B in Italy and the Segunda Division in Spain and we’ve got an NHL tip too.
Thanks everyone for listening, we hope you’re enjoying the podcast. Please continue to support the podcast by telling your sports mad mates about us and we can continue to grow and bring you these podcasts.

Hello and welcome once again to the ProTipster Sports Betting Podcast.
It’s international break time, but fear not we won’t bore you to death with international talk we dig deep to find some of the more interesting matches to talk about and we have a look back at what went down in the footballing world over the weekend.
We kick off proceedings by having a go at Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho because he’s just a bully now at this stage. We speak about his attack on Luke Shaw and as well about his recent meltdown in a press conference akin to Rafael Benitez “Facts” press conference when in charge of Liverpool. We speak about their display against Brighton Hove Albion in the FA Cup where he praised Matic and nobody else, yet praised all his team when they lost to Sevilla mid week. He’s a hard nut to crack Mourinho, playing one character for the public and one in private but the cracks are beginning to show and we can’t see hm being at Old Trafford for the long term.
Next up we speak about Jose’s nemesis Antonio Conte and how they got on in the FA Cup against Leicester City. The Blues were probably better but not by much and something to note, the last time they met Leicester in the FA Cup they went on to win it. Chelsea weren’t great, but Leicester weren’t either and it was more the Foxes getting their tactics wrong than Conte getting his right.
Southampton won a match under new manager Mark Hughes. That’s just about a mention. Imagine if he manages to keep Southampton up and his old team Stoke City go down? He’d probably like that a lot, then again many football fans would probably like that a lot.
West Brom did what West Brom are really good at, losing yet again. You have to feel sorry though for Baggies fans, it’s not their fault that the last two managers have been atrocious and really the only people to blame here are both managers and a board who don’t seem to have a clue about running a football club.
Birmingham City beat Hull 3-0. The last time Birmingham City scored three goals at home the Spartans were trying to take on Xerxes. And what a momentous occasions both of those were. One was made into a comic book and a film, hopefully the same will be done with this famous Blues victory.
Mo Salah is the best footballer to ever play the game of football ever. That’s pretty much a fact now that all football fans around the world will admit. Even Manchester United fans. Sure they have Alexis Sanchez, but he’s just a little bit less gooder than Salah. Yes, gooder isn’t a word, we’re using some poetic license.
Portuguese legend Cristiano Ronaldo scored his 50th hat trick. But it was in La Liga, so y’know, it doesn’t count as much as it would if it had been scored in the Championship away to Norwich.
Bayern Munich lost! There is hope that the Bundesliga might be saved from the cluches of Bavarian capitalism, banking and auto manufacturing. Who beat them? The team owned by the Austrian soft drink makers. Or is it an energy drink? We ask these questions and more besides. Not only did Bayern lose but the worst team in the team by a country mile, Koln won.
Juventus slipped up over the weekend drawing with Spal while Napoli are back in the race following a narrow 1-0 win over Genoa.
We get speaking then about some of the best fixtures from the upcoming week of football, we have a couple of international friendlies to speak about and a couple of fixtures from League One and Two in England as well.
Thanks for watching, listening and go get telling your friends all about our mighty little podcast.

Anyway, we’ve released a newsletter which we’ve added here:
A certain TV station is calling this weekend’s football action ‘Rival Weekend’ and we kind of wish we’d thought of it first, but we didn’t. Anyway, suffice to say there’s a boatload of great football happening this weekend, so here are some highlights from our ProTipster Betting Preview Articles.
Friday
Roma Vs Torino
Roma left Napoli shell shocked last weekend by beating them 2-4 at the Stadio San Paolo in a game that everyone and his dog believed Napoli would win. Torino are typically midtable, again. They’re basically the Everton of Italy, living in the shadow of their larger, more successful neighbour and while their fans are amongst the most passionate and dedicated in Italy they struggle to attract the better players.

Strasbourg Vs Monaco
Second placed Monaco travel to Strasbourg on Friday night hoping to extend the gap further to Marseille in the race to finish second to PSG in Ligue 1. While the domestic title seems out of reach for the holders, they can go a step further to ensuring a top two finish this season.

Saturday
Man United Vs Liverpool
Liverpool have clawed their way back into the chase for second place in the Premier League. Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has now reverted to type in playing cautious, defensive football and are, mostly, eeking out narrow victories. This was most evident in Chelsea’s defeat at Old Trafford almost a fortnight ago now. Chelsea were the better team but United were able to soak up the pressure and won ugly. And that’s the most important thing. They won, Chelsea lost. Three points in the bag. Job done. Thank you very much.

Bayer Leverkusen v Borussia Moenchengladbach
Leverkusen’s form at home leaves a lot to be desired. They have won just four of their last ten games at the BayArena, suffering successive defeats to Hertha and Schalke in their last two games at home. Meanwhile, Gladbach have definitely fallen by the wayside of late. The eighth-placed side have won just once in their last six games in the Bundesliga and are in danger of completely losing touch with the European places.

Aston Villa Vs Wolves
Is there really a rivalry between these two? It’s blown up a bit this season with both teams doing so well but when you think of midland derbies, it’s Villa v Blues or Wolves v Albion, not this one. However, it’s a huge game for both sides as a win for Villa would see them close the gap on Cardiff in second, whereas a win for Wolves would arguably see them promoted back to the Premier League.

Sunday
Inter Vs Napoli
It looked like Inter were going to be Napoli’s biggest threat for the Scudetto trophy this season, but a string of eight matches where they only registered just six points from a potential 24. Napoli were shocked by Roma’s performance last Saturday. Things got off to a great start b the question then is, will Napoli manager Maurizio Sarri and his players have learned from the experience?

Baseball

Basketball
NBA
Oklahoma City Thunder Vs Houston Rockets
Opening Odds
2.23 // 1.57
I think they will change a lot, I think the odds for the Thunder will drop considerably and if you’re a trader are worth getting on early and getting out before the game even starts.
Let me give you the stats:
Overall 6/10 10/10
HVsA 7/10 9/10
The Rockets are on a brilliant run, they have 49 wins from a possible 62, they’ve leap-frogged the Golden State Warriors into top position
The line hasn’t been set yet it’s too early coz this game is on Tuesday night/Wednesday morning at 2am
But here’s some more stats
Against the spread it’s
12/31 20/31
So it’s definitely advantage Rockets there and yea, I’d expect them to win here again but I think the Oklahoma price will come down a good but in the next 24 hours
With Overs/Unders its
14/31 11/31
So it would look like Unders might be the way to go here
Tennis
There’s the WTA and ATP Indian Wells events taking place in California starting ths week, the mens odds aren’t out at the time of recording though so I can’t give you them
The Ladies odds are and we can have a quick look at them…
Ice-hockey
It being Monday I’m not going to do tonight’s matches since most of you won’t hear this until Tuesday so Tuesday night/Wednesday morning matches
Couple of big ones in the NHL
We have the Boston Bruins taking on the Detroit Red Wings
Odds on this
1.80 // 4.13 // 3.69
Over 5.5
1.97 // 1.81
Boston had a bit of stumble, I said they would when bringing in their new players, new attacker Rick Nash formerly of the New York Rangers looks like he’s fit in and they’re back to winning ways. They’re 6 points behind Eastern Conference leaders Tampa Bay Lightning now with 40/63 wins, at home 22/33 wins
The Bruins have won 4/5 at home and 8/10
The Red Wings have lost the last 3 in a row and are way down in 14 probably looking forward to this season ending and starting again next season.
But y’know there’s a good rivalry between these two teams, Boston Vs Detroit and y’know the Bruins, long with Tampa and the Las Vegas Golden Knights these are the teams everyone wants to win and they raise their game for.
A good few people are tipping the Bruins to win here on the Protipster website, thehigest ranking one is from a user called Arek01
Another one from the ProTipster website was
The New Jersey Devils to win
They’re playing the Montreal Canadiens
The Canadiens hate traveling they’ve only won 9/31 games away from home only scoring 71 times, the lowest of the Easter conference
The Devils are pretty much assured their play off spot but y’know they’ll want to keep their winning run going so yea this tip is from a ProTipster website user called Hoojdonk, New Jersey Devils to win at 1.75 (that’s including Overtime) if you’re feeling braver, you can get them to win without Overtime at 2.15
