58- What’s The Price of Fame?
01:29:58
DJ Craftmatic & Paulie Dubz discuss the price of fame as up & coming rappers and established veterans are coming under fire at alarming rate (with 4 shootings targetting rappers in the past month alone). Is social media to blame? Is it pressure to live up to an image? Is it hate? The boys get into the D'Angelo documentary "Devil's Pie", which addresses the pressure of being the chosen one in music which leads to D'Angelo's 14 year absence from the music game. What makes artists at the top of their game like D'Angelo, Lauryn Hill, Dave Chappelle step away from it all...including tens of millions of dollars? Is the game worth the cost?
Track of the week: "Yesterday" - Loyle Carner produced by Madlib

57- State of the NFC at the Half
00:57:48
DJ Craftmatic & Paulie Dubz continue breaking down the NFL season, this time going over the NFC, where great quarterback play mixed with unbalanced defense has led to multiple teams being in a position to claim the top spot in the conference. At different times this season the Seahawks, Packers, Buccaneers, Saints have all looked like the best team in the conference...and all of these teams have also been exposed with huge weaknesses and big losses. Who do the boys like to take the NFC? Can anyone in the NFC compete with the Chiefs and the rest of the top teams in the AFC?

55- Boys in the Bubble
01:19:58
DJ Craftmatic & Paulie Dubz return to discuss the NBA's return. The NBA bubble and NBA playoffs were a great success, with no positive COVID tests for 100+ days, and new superstars stepping up to the spotlight to make a name for themselves in this crazy environment. 51- Taken Before Their Prime
01:19:40
RIP Pop Smoke. DJ Craftmatic & Paulie Dubz discuss the death of Pop Smoke, which is the latest example of a young hip hop artist dying before they even hit their prime. A study done a few years ago said that 51% of rappers have died of murder. Why does this infect hip hop and not other genres? Also at age 20, Pop Smoke becomes the latest rapper to die before the age of 26, joining a long line of rappers dying young including Juice WRLD, Mac Miller, xxxtentacion, Capital Steez, Lil Peep amongst others.

50- Roasting Kale & Okra
01:06:31
DJ Craftmatic & Paulie Dubz discuss how Gayle King and her BFF Oprah Winfrey continuously wield their journalistic power to attack black men, while their good friends (the now convicted) Harvey Weinstein & Charlie Rose don't catch the same scorn. Why do they do it? Was Snoop right in his attack on Gayle or did he go too far? Should he have apologized? Oh yeah and we reminisce on 50 (#getthestrap) episodes and one year of The Antidote Podcast.
