Happy holidays, you beautiful lushes! This week, we welcome Allison from the Not Your Little Lady podcast to the tipsy table, where we celebrate the season by taste-testing eggnog and talking about life in the south. Not Your Little Lady is an interview podcast where Allison explores the stories of women and femme-identifying individuals in the south living lives outside of traditional social norms. NYLL will be back for season 2 on Wednesdays in January, and is available everywhere you listen to podcasts. You can follow along on Twitter at @LadiesofNYLL.
It turns out that we’re all cat people here in the ATL, and Allison shares the origin story of her cat Wednesday (also why her podcast drops that day). Do you sing to your pets? Yup, us too. Oh, speaking of music – listen to the end for Allison’s amazing music recommendations in Three Bands, Dead or Alive.
