"Take Down The Patriarchy" With Solange & Jen, formerly known as"Jessica & Solange Take Down The Patriarchy" is a feminist deconstruction of movies/TV Shows/Books that contain problematic and stereotypical representations of women. Solange Castro, a standup comic and playwright, wrote the play, "Changes In The Mating Strategies of White People." Jen O'Donell is a comic and producer of "The Ladies Room" as well as reality TV. Jessica Cabot is the writer and creator of the Lisa Kudrow produced web series "Shitty Boyfriends." All women are working to help improve the portrayal of women in media through this podcast. Jessica is taking a hiatus from the podcast to pursue film school, but will always be a founding mother.
