Dan found the first story I’m telling today on the web - a story I was pointed to by Curtis Rioux, fan, friend, and incredibly talented professional animator. The urban legend of Click… Clack… Slide… I don’t want to spoil what that represents, but I’m guessing that many of our listeners have heard a version of this story - like Curtis - when they were kids. Can a monster be both a manufactured urban legend AND something you could truly encounter. That’s what we play around with in this story. Then, a man who was horrifying in real life continues to haunt people even after his death: John Wayne Gacy. Next, we dip back into true crime and go over a few locations reported to be haunted in the Chicago area, by the ghost of infamous serial killer, John Wayne Gacy.Lynze has two fantastic stories this week! Her first tale will make you think twice about the sounds of footsteps you hear on the stairs. Are they coming from someone or some thing? Then she presents a story with no explanation or resolution. A fan shares their tale of happening upon a room full of blood, but where did it come from?

Dan's first of two stories is based on around something we haven't really explored  before. Astral projection. If you could train your mind to actually be able to take your consciousness OUT of your body… leave it behind as a sort of empty vessel - could something else enter in its place? After that, off to Hawaii for a little bite-sized bit of horror. Some paranormal encounters alleged to have taken place at the Honolulu Police Department’s training academy. Lot of horror on those little islands it seems. Then Lynze poses a great question about the paranormal and psilocybin. Can you bring back something from a trip? Lastly, a piece of jewelry seems to be the source of some kind of attachment.

The first story this week is brutal. It deals with some real-life heavy topics of child and spousal abuse. A spirit that seems to feed off all of this torment and make it worse seems to be attacking a family. Then the  infamous legend of the Dover Demon.  Cryptid? Alien? Hoax? Did four teenagers really seem some sort of monster in a Massachusetts town just outside of Boston in the Spring of 1977? Then in the back half, Lynze shares a new "thing", a tulpa. She and Dan had never heard of it and the fan submission will make you wonder if the hat man himself is a tulpa. Then, a family tale of encountering some kind of shadowy figure and the remnants of what appears to be some sort of ritual while cleaning a home that is not their own.

Dan's first story takes us to Maine - set in a remote farm somewhere near the 100 mile wilderness area of the Appalachian Trail. Rural isolation adding to the horror for one very unlucky family.  Then, the short story of the the Delhi Purple Sapphire, also known as the Cursed Amethyst - an allegedly haunted object. Lynze tells us three tales. The first two are real head scratcher's and will leave you with questions. The final tale is so creepy- just wait for it!

Dan's first story is set in the little ski town of Crested Butte, Colorado. It's a modern encounter story of a man who claims to have picked up and given a ride to one of the area’s most infamous spirits. And then  to the UK - to the rolling green hills of Gloucestershire , England, to visit the strange and haunted unfinished Woodchester Mansion. Lynze's first story brings to life everyone's fear of something chasing you up the stairs from the basement. To finish the episode, she tells us a spooky tale about something or someone trying to make life uncomfortable at a mental health facility.

Dan's first of two stories takes place  in sunny Costa Rica. A college student explores the supposedly very haunted The Ruins - the remnants of old and massive church - and claims to come face to face with its infamous ghost.  Then, for the next story, we head to Connecticut to go over the legend of Hanna Cranna aka The Wicked Witch of Monroe.  Lynze has two tales that are thematic around driving and lost time. Her first story features a possible skin walker sighting and her second story will make you think twice about pulling off the freeway to find a restroom in the middle of the night, by yourself.

Dan's  first story comes from South Korea. He shares the legend of their “egg ghosts.” Sound harmless but it's definitely NOT harmless. Then he will share a smaller story that comes from Salem, Massachusetts - lore and a modern encounter centered around the reportedly haunted and very old for America House of Seven Gables. Lynze will tell us a tale about the possible sighting of a werewolf. What do you think about werewolves? Are they real? A final tale, a sweeter kind of story about a simple light being left on.

2.       Click the “Apply Now” button at the bottom of the page.

3.       Register to create a Hub account with a unique username and password.

4.       Log into your account and complete the questions in the profile section.

5.       The list of scholarships will display on the website.   Locate the  Cummins Family Scholarship Fund application and click the “Apply Now” link to fill out your information.

6.       An online recommendation form must be submitted on your behalf. It is the student’s responsibility to follow up with their recommender to ensure they submit the information before the deadline.

7.       Next start filling out the application by completing all required fields and click the “Save answers” button.  If all required data was entered, the Application section in the progress bar at the top of the page will turn green.  An error message will display at the top of the page if any fields are missing or have incomplete information.

8.       Click the “Next” button at the top of the page and use the Add a Document tool available to upload your documents.

9.       Once all documents have been uploaded, click the “Next” button again to review your information before submitting your application.

10.   If all information appears correct, click the “Lock and Submit” button and click “OK” to submit your data to Scholarship America for processing.

You will receive an email confirmation once the application has been successfully submitted.  If you don’t receive the email confirmation, please check your spam or junk mail folder or search for an email fromstudentsupport@scholarshipamerica.org to confirm your application has been received.

Dan has an abandoned and haunted hospital double feature!  First,  to New Zealand for some history, paranormal lore and a creepy modern encounter inside the former Kingseat Psychiatric Hospital. Then, we’ll head to Texas and explore various ghostly encounters that have all taken place at the former Yorktown Memorial Hospital.

Lynze has a lengthy tale about how one women went from being a host for something to kicking it out and learning how manifest her own gifts. The final story for this week is a bit of a gentle tale. 7 out of 8 family members all see the same old lady who lives with them for many, many years.
