This just in: RESET Podcast announces something sad and Kleenex stocks have shot up to an all time high. Oh wait, correction: no correlation, turns out a generation of Amish youth just discovered the internet. Nevermind.
Now let’s get real here for a second (seriously, for once). Yes, we’ve got a sad announcement: we’ve decided, regrettably, to bring RESET Podcast to a close. It hasn’t been an easy decision and we’d like to thank our fans who made it all worth it.
But don’t crank up the Norah Jones just yet. We’ll be releasing one last full length episode in two weeks. In the meantime, and again, thank you.

Whoa, Kingdom Hearts 2.89 is out, which is great because it’ll get us ready for Kingdom Hearts 3.02/2 REDUX X – which incidentally is also out. So much Kingdom Hearts in a week – can’t wait for Kingdom Hearts 4.1 in 2031.
This week we’re also discussing Mario Kart Tour being delayed, Dr Mario World being announced, new Batman game rumours, Resident Evil 2’s free Ghost Survivors DLC, the Steam vs Epic Store debacle, Fallout 76 price drops and Sony filing a back-compatibility patent.

If we had to describe the Resident Evil 2 Remake in three words: “No, we shan’t”. Three words simply isn’t enough. Five words? Not even close. Eight words? Ha, you overplayed your hand. We would have taken seven. And here they are: “It’s actually really really really quite good”. Join us on the podcast where we say significantly more than seven words about it.
This week we’re also discussing Metroid Prime 4’s development being restarted, our time with the Anthem VIP Demo and the upcoming Kingdom Hearts 3 release.
And finally, we list our Top 3 Gaming predictions for 2019, and play RESET Mini-game: Two truths and a lie.

The last episode of RESET for 2018 is a banger. We’re announcing something our fans have asked for, some prizes are up for grabs, a special theme song, the RESET AWARD GOTW winners and a big bad gaming quiz of 2018. Want more? Nah, that’s enough.

Welcome to the Podsmash. We’re going to be smashing a bunch of things in this episode: Our reviews for Super Smash Bros Ultimate and Darksiders 3, the first two RESET AWARDS for 2018, a bunch of preconceptions about our level of podcasting professionalism, and my mum’s car. She knows what she did.
This week we’re also discussing the winners of The Game Awards 2018, The Outer Worlds, Mortal Kombat 11, Crash Team Racing: Nitro Fuelled, The Last Campfire, Hades, Journey to the Savage Planet, Devil May Cry 5, THQ Nordic’s recent gaming acquisitions, some final words on Red Dead Redemption 2 and Bethesda not being able to catch a break with Fallout 76.

What happens when you find yourself in the wake of a delicious mix of console announcements and rumours? Well, you add a few drops of kerosine in the unfortunately-eternal fire that is; the console wars. And that’s exactly what we’ve done this week. Well, metaphorically cause kerosine is expensive.
This week we’re also discussing a bunch of Playstation and XBOX news, PS5 rumours, Spyro: Reignited Trilogy, Fallout 76, Hitman 2, Tetris Effect, Red Dead Redemption 2, The Game Awards GOTY nominees and Kingdom Hearts 3 going gold.

Microsoft is trying to drill something into our collective brains in their X0 event return: a nail, finely engraved with the following message: it’s a URL which points to a website where you can sign up for their email mailing list. The message on the ensuing email? ‘We’re focusing on games’. Our reply? ‘Finally’. No use though, it’s a no-reply email and we get a bounce back from mailer-daemon.
This week we’re also discussing Tetris Effect, Microsoft purchasing Obsidian Entertainment & inXile Entertainment, Crackdown 3’s release date, Void Bastards, the return of Xbox’s Winter of Arcade, new games coming to Xbox Game Pass, The Game Awards 2018 and Red Dead Redemption 2.

PAX Aus 2018 has come and gone and we’re sad and scared and tired. Particularly tired. In this lovely episode of RESET, we wax poetic about the things we saw and played at PAX Aus that excited us the most. We also discuss our (maybe overly-) critical first impressions of Red Dead Redemption 2.

When all the gaming news we have to report on is made up of rumours and speculation, there’s only one thing to do: report on them with poise and extreme grace. But hey, we’ve also played some games this week, including the absolutely fantastic Forza Horizon 4.

Surely Michael’s fabled uttering that “Telltale should take a break” and the subsequent news that Telltale is closing down are a coincidence at best. It would be ridiculous to think that such enigmatic words could cause the closure of a beloved studio. It’s a moronic thought, really. And yet, here we are.
This week we’re also discussing Life is Strange 2, XBOX X018, no Playstation Experience for 2018, PS4 getting cross-play support, Forza Horizon 4, The Ace Attorney Trilogy, Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, Nintendo clarifying cloud save expiries, Super Mario Party Cartridge selling on eBay and Nintendo winning a lawsuit against Tokyo Mario Karting.

Has anyone ever noticed how weird the word ‘classic’ is? Seriously, look at it. Starts and ends with a ‘c’ and a double ‘s’ in the middle. Weird. But hey, you know what’s not weird? Sony releasing the Playstation Classic. It’s just money in the pock. Invest in Sony? As your trusted source for investment opportunities, RESET podcast says ‘yels’.
This week we’re also discussing Aussie indie game The Gardens Between, getting excited for PAX Aus, Switch Online Service’s NES catalog, Playstation Now allowing game downloads, EB Games’ ‘interesting’ Playstation loot box, Red Dead Online, Capcom Vancouver shutting down and Horizon Zero Dawn.

There’s something not quite right about Lara Croft’s personality in ‘Shadow of the Tomb Raider’, and we can’t quite put our fingers on it. Oh wait, yes we can. Lara has turned into an obnoxious jerk. How the hell did that happen?
This week we’re also discussing the Nintendo Direct, Luigi’s Mansion 3, Switch Online Service controversy, NES controllers for Switch, new RPG ‘Town’ from Game Freak, Forza Horizon 4 Demo, Isabelle coming to Super Smash Ultimate, the upcoming Tokyo Game Show, the Playstation Line-up tour (PSLUT), EB Games ‘Zero Regrets’ trade-in policy and the Overwatch Busan patch going live.

So the first WarioWare game has come out in 9 years. But is it pure gold like it’s namesake suggests? Or is it akin to one of the more common metallic elements? Warioware Zinc, perhaps?
This week we’re also discussing Spyro: Re-ignited Trilogy not including Spyro 2 and 3 on the retail release disc, Spiderman going Gold, some Overwatch League news, Yakuza Kiwami, a new Ocarina of Time speed run world record and some gaming sales records.

Okay, first of all: how dare you. I can hear you all mocking the episode title in my mind’s eye. Well consider this: clever pun-based episode titles are difficult to think of and we obviously lack the intellect required to come up with one. So take that. We’re talking about Simulation Games in this episode.
This week we’re also discussing Germany banning pre-orders on games with no release date, the new Spiderman story trailer, Nintendo suing ROM sites, Rocket League’s 3rd anniversary event, the Nathan Fillion Uncharted fan film, Xbox teasing their appearance at Gamescom, Monster Hunter World PC details, World of Warcraft and God of War.

Tune in for the inaugural RESET Podcast E3 2018 Press Conference, recorded LIVE from the Los Angeles Convention Center.
We’d like to quickly dispel any potential future rumours that this episode was faked and that it was all scripted, recorded in Tegan’s house and then edited to sound like we were doing it live in front of a crowd at E3. First of all, how dare you. Integrity is one of the key tenets of RESET Podcast – alongside divine wisdom and general precariousness.
We have nothing further to say. It’s our 100th episode. Send kudos (and cash).

The world is in turmoil and everything sucks, but shut up and relax because we’ve got some really good news: Unlike a parent’s sentiment towards a child who listens to country music, Detroit: Become Human has not disappointed us. And thank goodness for that.
This week we’re also discussing Mushroom Racing, We Happy Few being refused classification in Australia, Runescape Classic shutting down, The Wolf Among Us 2, Battlefield 5 and Sony discussing PS5 timelines.

This week we’re also discussing God of War, Nintendo Labo, Red Dead Redemption 2, Mushroom Racing, Xbox adaptive controller, Campo Santo being bought out by Valve, Boss Key Productions closing down, Nintendo Online Service, Overwatch, Nintendo hiring for Zelda and Atomic Heart.

We don’t know much about grain, but we try not to make a habit of going against it. Especially since it makes up so many of our favourite delish cereals. Yum, cereal. Unfortunately though, we are going against it this week: Tegan’s played Ni No Kuni 2 and despite the fantastic reception it seems to be receiving, she doesn’t has the loveliest things to say about it.
This week we’re also discussing the Spyro Reignited Trilogy, some exciting new details about Spider-Man PS4, Overwatch’s upcoming Retribution event, SIMULACRA, No Man’s Sky, PAX Aus 18 feat. EB Expo tickets (forget the Ultimate Gamer Pass, send us cash) and Far Cry 5.

This week we’re introducing a new intermittent segment ‘Predictions Register’ and speculating about which upcoming games will be a disappointment, so get ready for your jimmies to be rustled.
This week we’re also discussing Ready Player One, THEC64MINI (Commodore 64 Mini), GTA5 vs Lindsay Lohan, A Way Out, Yakuza 6, Ni No Kuni 2, Fortnite Mobile vs. PUBG Mobile, Silent Hill Pachinko, No Man’s Sky coming to Xbox One and WipeOut Omega Collection on PSVR.

This week we’ve done something we almost never do: play games and then talk about them on a podcast, which is good because we definitely needed a new coat of paint on this thing. Anyway, the games lucky enough to be part of our major transformation are the as yet unreleased Yakuza 6 and the newly released A Way Out, so there’s plenty to gab about on this lovely episode.
This week we’re also discussing EA hiring for an open world Star Wars game, Brigitte going live in Overwatch, another GOTY for Zelda: Breath of the Wild, the upcoming Far Cry 5 and Curse of Monkey Island releasing on Steam and GOG.

Big news in the gaming world this week: Luigi has a penis. Now to severely less important news: there are lots of big games coming out next week that we’re excited about and we’ve been playing Burnout Paradise Remastered and Yakuza 6. Less frivolous than our average episode synopsis? Yeah, well we’re tired.
This week we’re also discussing the Tomb Raider movie, Shadow of the Tomb Raider, the upcoming Nindies showcase, God of War leaked gameplay footage, PAX Aus and EB Expo teaming up, Star Wars: Battlefront 2’s microtransaction overhaul and Yakuza Kiwami 2 getting a release date.

This week we’re also discussing Tom Clancy’s The Division 2, Bluepoint working on a new and ‘bigger’ remake, Mario Tennis Aces, Lara Croft Barbie, WarioWare Gold, Fortnite coming to mobile, PS5 rumours and speculation, Days Gone getting delayed to 2019, Burnout Paradise Remastered and Forza Horizon 3 on the Xbox One X.

If so, you might be having a stroke, consult your physician immediately. We’re instead taking the road less travelled and asking “what movies would make a good video game?”.
This week we’re also discussing Detroit: Become Human getting a release date, new Overwatch hero Brigitte, the infamous Diablo night light, Metal Gear Survive not performing well, Yakuza 6 accidentally releasing for free, Tony Hawk announcing split from Activision, Pit People, Superhot VR and Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5.

Here’s one: you buy a Playstation VR on launch day, it gives you motion sickness so you sell it. What next? You buy another PSVR cause you arrogantly think you can build up a tolerance over time. So how does that work out? Lets find out in our new intermittent segment ‘PSVR Motion Sickness Update’. It’s probably not going to work. Maybe with the third PSVR.
We’re also discussing Accounting+, Superhot VR, Ni No Kuni 2 going gold, a final word on (the terrible) Metal Gear Survive, League of Legends loot box odds being published, 2018 DICE Awards winners, Burnout Paradise Remastered, PAX Aus 2018 dates announced, Hawaii legislating against loot boxes, Secret of Mana Remake and The Battle of Polytopia.

It’s a question that’s been passed through the ages, since sometime during the mesolithic period: What’s the best video game controller? And the answer is easy: who give a rats? Oh wait we do, cause we’re doing it for our Top 3 this week.
We’re also discussing a Spyro the Dragon Trilogy Remake rumour, the System Shock remake being put on hiatus, the impending release of Metal Gear Survive, Blizzard rounding up Warcraft 3 players for a super secret event, Kingdom Hearts 3, Sea of Thieves, Celeste, Age of Empires: Definitive Edition and The Station.

The Shadow of the Colossus remake came out last week and hear it from us first: it’s thick and creamy, not unlike a delish tub of Yoplait Petit Miam. But something may have overshadowed our enjoyment of it. I’m talking about a little indie ditty called Celeste, which by comparison is a tub of Yoplait Petit Miam Strawberry. If you haven’t played the game, just trust us that’s clever. There are a strawberries in the game. It’s a good gag.
This week we’re also discussing some Red Dead Redemption 2 leaked details, Fortnite smashing concurrent player records, Mushroom Racing potentially coming to Australia, the PS4 Pro, Voxel Turf and Rime on PS Plus.

There’s nothing quite like a good video game crossover. Actually, that’s not true at all, there are plenty of things better. By and large they’re usually mediocre. So let’s change that: for this week’s Top 3 we’re discussing crossover video games which should exist. Spoiler alert: we don’t change anything, all our suggestions are pretty terrible.
This week we’re also discussing Red Dead Redemption 2 being delayed again, Xbox Game Pass including Microsoft first party titles on day of launch, THEC64 Mini (Commodore 64 Mini), Mario Kart Tour, Illumination and Nintendo working on a Mario movie, the upcoming Shadow of the Colossus Remake, Hunt: Showdown and Monster Hunter: World.

Monster Hunter: World came out this week, so we thought we’d give it a try. We tried killing one monster just to see what it was like. “One is enough” we thought. It wasn’t, so we killed another monster. “Two, that’s more than enough”. Two is never enough. Like Pringles, once you pop (a cap in a monster), you can’t stop. Long story short, it’s a good game. Fin.
This week we’re also discussing Aussie indie game Damsel, BioWare’s Anthem being delayed to 2019, Nintendo pulling the plug on Miitomo and Epic Games discontinuing Paragon.
And finally, we list our Top 3 fighting game characters, and play RESET Mini-game: The List of Us.

Metal Gear Survive is a game in which the player needs to survive (that is; choose to continue living) after playing a bastardised spinoff of a renowned and beloved series. We’re glad to report we got out alive, if barely, and on this episode we’re going to tell our story. Melodramatic? Yeah. Overreaction? I mean.. yeah. But still.
This week we’re also discussing Nintendo Labo (if anyone knows how to pronounce it, fax us), Overwatch Blizzard World update, Playstation’s new Totaku figurine line, Genital Jousting getting an Australian release and probably the last time we’ll ever talk about Hidden Agenda.

New year, new us. But not really. We’re the same old RESET, except for a bunch of changes we’re making. Resolutions, if you will. But you shouldn’t, cause we have none. Except for a few. We don’t. This episode is about the year ahead, particularly the games we’re looking forward to playing most in 2018.
This week we’re also discussing Dark Souls Remastered, the first Nintendo Direct Mini of the year, The Overwatch League, Blossom Tales: The Sleeping King, Doki Doki Literature Club, Floor Kids, Yakuza 0, Hidden Agenda, Party Golf and Superhot.
And finally, we list our Top 3 most anticipated games of 2018, and play RESET Mini-game: Two truths and a lie.

So it’s our final episode for 2017, and you can bet your donger that we’re going to avoid discussing the year as much as possible, so as not to remind ourselves that we’re getting older and that we’ll soon be dead. Wow, dark. Scratch that, we absolutely are talking about the year. Specifically, the very best and worst of the year in video games. We’re also capping off the 2017 RESET Awards with our Game of the year. But that’s not enough for our final pod, so we’ve also played the Game Awards’ Best Narrative award winner: What Remains of Edith Finch.
This week we’re also discussing PUBG’s rocky launch on the Xbox One, rumours about a Burnout Paradise Remaster, a new Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time glitch, SEGA turning down Jet Set Radio Evolution, Monster Hunter World Beta, Overwatch’s new Winter Wonderland event and indie games Riot – Civil Unrest and Floor Kids.
And finally, we discuss the winners of the final RESET Award for 2017: Game of the Year, and play RESET Mini-game: Dis or dat.

So without knowing for sure that FromSoftware’s teaser shown off at The Game Awards was teasing Bloodborne 2, we thought we’d send an email to their press mailbox for confirmation. We got an almost instantaneous reply from mailer-daemon, so that seems like a pretty good sign. Oh, and we attempted a second run of Hidden Agenda this week. Hopefully third time’s the charm.
This week we’re also discussing the biggest announcements at The Game Awards 2017, the biggest announcements at Playstation Experience 2017, Shadow of the Tomb Raider, the impending release of Aussie indie game RUMU, Destiny 2: Curse of Osiris content removal, Detroit: Become Human’s negative press during the week and Million Onion Hotel.
And finally, we discuss the winners of the third RESET Award for 2017: The ‘We like Original Games’ Award, and play RESET Mini-game: 20 Questions.

A great scholar once said “there’s no time like the present, and there’s no present like cash”. And with that in mind, welcome to episode 82. What have we been up to this last week you ask? First of all, cool it with the invasive questions. But to answer your question, we’ve been playing delish games like Hidden Agenda, Yakuza 0 and the charming and heartwarming visual novel: Doki Doki Literature Club!
This week we’re also discussing some new Cyberpunk 2077 details, Rocket League hitting 2 billion matches, the first expansion for Civilization 6: Rise and Fall, the Switch being Black Friday’s best selling product, Monster Hunter: World upcoming beta details, Demon’s Souls online services shutting down in early 2018, Cuphead patch fixing the Mugman army glitch and Jazz Jackrabbit coming to GOG.

It’s Awards season baby and you know what that means. Or at least we’re hoping you do, cause we don’t. Shoot us an email and let us know please. Anyway, one of us seems to have developed an obsession with terribly mediocre games and has picked up Need for Speed Payback. Spoiler alert: it’s terribly mediocre. The other picked up Rocket League on the Switch, so there goes that mystery.
This week we’re also discussing the ongoing fallout from EA’s implementation of microtransactions in Star Wars: Battlefront 2, an interesting Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice dev diary from Ninja Theory, FIFA 18 facing a boycott with the #FixFIFA campaign, Marvel Heroes being shut down, Playground Games working on an action adventure RPG, To the Moon 2: Finding Paradise and indie skateboarding game Session on Kickstarter.
And finally, we discuss the winners of the first RESET Award for 2017: The ‘One game for the rest of your life’ Award, and play RESET Mini-game: 20 Questions.

Okay, so last week we said we weren’t going to buy Star Wars: Battlefront 2. Well we lied. We couldn’t help it, and now we’re on a one-way trip to h-e-double hockey sticks. We’ll say hi to the EA executive team when we get there. But in the meantime here’s a bit of a shanghai surprise: the game is good, particularly the single player campaign. So does it deserve all the hate it’s getting? Well, yes.
This week we’re also discussing The Game Awards nominations, Final Fantasy XV’s Noctis in Tekken 7, playing new Overwatch hero Moira, The Golden Joystick awards and kicking off The RESET Awards 2017.

We’ve had hands on time with the world’s most powerful console this week, so join us while we discuss the primordial question: should you buy one? We’ve also passed Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus, so plenty to talk about.

If you’ve got a Switch but haven’t picked up Odyssey yet, stop reading this episode synopsis and leg it to your nearest gaming outlet and hand the sales assistant a blank cheque. Some people are saying Cuphead is style over substance. To those people I say ‘hush’ while putting my finger on their lips and then into their mouth to induce vomiting. To be fair though, they’re kinda right, and now I have vomit all over my hands for nothing. Whatever the case, Cuphead is still a buttload of fun and definitely worth a pickup. Hold on I’ll be right back, I’ve got to wash my hands.
This week we’re also discussing Red Dead Redemption 2, Star Wars Battlefront 2’s upcoming Multiplayer Beta, the SNES Mini, Ataribox, Commodore 64 Mini, PUBG, Aussie indie game Damsel on Kickstarter, Metal Gear Solid 5 on PS Plus, Nintendo restricting streaming on Youtube, Road Redemption and our excitement about the upcoming EB Expo. So Bluehole, developers of PLAYERUNKNOWN’S BATTLEGROUNDS, don’t like that Fortnite has a new Battle Royale mode. Out of spite, we’re creating a new Battle Royale game. It’s going to be called RESETPODCAST’S PICK-YOUR-BATTLES (…GROUNDS). It’s actually not a game at all, it’s just an executable that flashes the text “Bluehole don’t own Battle Royale” and then ejects your disc tray. We’ve already been funded on Kickstarter.
This week we’re also discussing Madden 18, Left Alive, Monster Hunter Worlds, a potential Satoru Iwata tribute embedded on every Switch, Fortnite breaking the console cross-play barrier, Final Fantasy 9, Steam implementing review histograms, Overwatch’s new Junkertown map, Battleborn going into ‘maintenance mode’ and a special AGPN PAX event announcement!

So it turns out our boy Mario has a pair of M’areolas. Fair enough I say, a chest without nipples is pointless. Boy oh boy, I’m so terribly sorry: episode synopses are hard, not unlike Mario’s hot aforementioned nips.
This week we’re also discussing Nintendo Direct, Super Nips Odyssey, Doom and Wolfenstein 2 coming to the Switch, Snipperclips Plus, Rocket League on the Switch, Mario Party: The Top 100, Okami, itch.io Epistle 3 Game Jam, PUBG, Warner Bros not making any more Arkham games, Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle, Destiny 2, whether loot boxes are gambling, the NES Mini coming back in 2018 and Lawbreakers’ dwindling player base.

Okay, here’s the brass tacks: we bought Destiny 2, we played Destiny 2, we passed Destiny 2. Was it worth it? Yeaah-noe? You know? You know it’s maybe. Maybe for sure. I definitely wouldn’t never say it’s not never un-worth it, if you catch my drift. How about you just stop asking all these frivolous questions and listen to the episode? Oh, and if there’s one thing all Destiny fans love besides Destiny: it’s tabletop games. Those two obviously go hand in hand, so we’ll be talking about our favourites for this week’s Top 3.
This week we’re also discussing South Park: The Fractured But Whole’s difficulty slider, LA Noire being re-released, Borderlands 3, No More Heroes: Travis Strikes Again, Resident Evil 7 Gold Edition, The Cyanide & Happiness Adventure Game on Kickstarter and Windjammers.

Despite what you may have read in the episode title, I’d like to quickly dispel some scathing non-existent rumours: our SNES did not catch fire. Well not yet anyway, we haven’t received the Street Fighter 2 re-release cartridge. But our plan is to pop it in when it arrives, place it under a giant Ryu effigy and host an Australian version of Burning Man. It’s going to be great.
This week we’re also discussing DropMix, Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle, Miiverse shutting down, South Park: The Fractured But Whole releasing uncensored in Australia, some exciting new Nindies, PUBG accolades, First 4 Figures Solid Snake Statue, Zelda Symphony of Goddesses, Overwatch changes, EB Games rental service Swap ‘n’ Play and the original Xbox One model being discontinued.

It’s been a very eventful week, so I don’t think I’m exaggerating in the slightest when I say we’ve got billions of hours of content for you in this episode. Gamescom (or ‘GamesCON’, sorry) is over and it’s left us with a buttload of trailers and announcements to talk about. And hey we’ve also both passed Uncharted: The Lost Legacy, and spoiler alert: it’s a video game. And it’s good.
This week we’re also discussing the Xbox One X (or XBONEX), Age of Empires 4, Microsoft talking to Sony about cross play, Final Fantasy: Windows Edition, Jurassic World Evolution, Cuphead, Super Mario Odyssey, Secret of Mana remake, Gran Turismo Sport, Shenmue 3, Fe, the dissapointing state of Bethesda VR, ANNO 1800, SNES Edition 3DS XL, Overwatch’s new Australian map: Junkertown and the SNES Classic.

Think you’ve already got the game of the year pegged? Well guess what, you probably do. But that doesn’t mean we can’t suggest a close second, or third. Or fourth, perhaps. It’s been a big year for games so it’s tough to say. Whatever the case, you’d be out of your mind (no pun intended) not to play Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice. We’ve passed it this last week, and we’ve got a lot to say about it.
This week we’re also discussing Blizzard flip-flopping on Battle.net, Batman: The Telltale Series Season 2, Microsoft’s upcoming Gamescom Press Conference, We Happy Few getting a release date, Sonic Mania, Switch outselling PS4 and Xbox One, Level 5 EB World Memberships, Mewto coming to Pokemon GO and Crackdown 3 being delayed to 2018.

What were you guys doing on April 1, 1997? No need to ponder, it’s a rhetorical question. I can’t remember what I was doing yesterday, let alone a single day more than 20 years ago. Come to think of it, I’m not even sure that’s technically a ‘rhetorical question’. I don’t even know why I asked it, the Nintendo 64 was released on March 1, 1997. This whole thing has been a waste of time. Anyway, enjoy the episode I guess. We’ve finished Night in the Woods, played Sundered and the Lawbreakers BETA.
This week we’re also discussing Doomfist in Overwatch, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered, Overcooked on the Switch, the great potato cake/potato scallops war, hints that we’re getting a Nintendo 64 Classic, Uncharted: The Lost Legacy DLC, PS Plus and XBOX Games with Gold for August 17 and PS Plus prices going up.

But, yes, we have played the Destiny 2 Beta and unsurprisingly it feels a lot like Destiny. Hear what we, as lukewarm fans of the original, have to say about that.
This week we’re also discussing Runescape hitting mobile platforms, Overwatch World Cup 2017 and the impending public launch of Doomfist, Crash Bandicoot Stormy Ascent DLC, Call of Duty: WWII Zombie mode details, DOOM going free with multiplayer DLC, Telltale announcing new seasons for three of their franchises (Batman, Walking Dead, The Wolf Among Us), Nintendo Switch Companion App voice chat woes, Night in the Woods, Middle-earth: Shadow of War and Brief Battles.

Arguably, it didn’t even make any sense to begin with. Anyway, here’s the brass tacks: Crash is back. We’ve played the N Sane Trilogy. Spoiler alert: it’s good.

For Microsoft, we’re obviously discussing the Xbox One X (we totally called the name by the way), Metro Exodus, State of Decay 2, The Last Night, Cuphead, Crackdown 3, total backwards compatibility and new Bioware IP: Anthem. There was going to be a Tekken pun in the title but we though better of it. That kind of humour is beneath us. Actually, thats a lie, despite our best efforts we couldn’t even think of a Tekken pun. We’ve also played some other delish games this week, including ARMS (as part of the Public Testpunch… it’s a BETA), BOXBOY! and adventure jam 2017 game: Sidekick High.
This week we’re also discussing new details around the Nintendo Switch’s Online Service, Need for Speed Payback, Assassin’s Creed, Lost Sphear, a gold Playstation 4 slim, this month’s PS Plus games, Crazy Taxi free on mobiles, Middle-earth: Shadow of War delay, Playstation 3 production ending in Japan, Overwatch and indie games: Danger Zone and Hover: Revolt of Gamers.
