Reel Comic Heroes: 151 - Spider-Man (94) Script Read
We decided to do something a little different this episode and assembled some folks for a script read of the unmade ‘Spider-Man’ from 1994. We’re performing the 2nd revision by Joseph Goldman, James Cameron and John Brancato from 7/29/1993. This script would’ve eventually changed even more and would have become the version James Cameron planned to direct with Leonardo DiCaprio as Peter Parker. Ultimately, this project never got made (for several reasons) but we dusted off the script and gave it our best. Okey dokey.

Reel Comic Heroes: 150 - Steel with Jarf Harden
It’s a bold move to take a Superman-adjacent character like John Henry Irons, cast Shaquille O’Neal and remove any Superman related backstory. Despite its reputation, ‘Steel’ had a few pleasant surprises for us. Joining us to discuss soufflés, bad jokes and free throws is Jarf Harden from the podcast ‘Dazed and Confused 33 1/3’.

Reel Comic Heroes: 149 - Spawn with Sean Malloy
It was meant to be the “special effects movie event of the year” in 1997. But ultimately, it was a movie that was largely seen as a failure. Spawn may one day return to the big screen. Until that day, we’ll take a closer look into Spawn alongside our guest, Sean Malloy.

It’s finally time to say goodbye to the Burton/Schumacher era Batman franchise with 1997’s Batman & Robin. Joining us is first time guest, Riley Silverman.
