She’s received numerous teaching awards, ~100,000 views of her YouTube teaching videos, and was featured in a calendar of women inventors. Her debut medical thriller, Fatal Intent, was published by Oceanview in 2021. She shares her journey of pivoting from a career in medicine to writing and publishing her own books. She took classes, attended retreats, and wrote short stories to gain traction. After a chance meeting with a physician-turned-publisher, she went from manuscript to publishing offer within a couple of months. She also discussed the challenges of writing believable medical scenes for her books.
Kathy Reichs of Bones fame called Fatal Intent “Medical suspense as sharp as it gets.” The sequel, Misfire, came out in January. Michael Connelly, best-selling author of the Bosch series called it “a first-rate medical thriller.”
Euliano’s short fiction has been recognized by Glimmer Train, Bards & Sages, Flame Tree Press, and others.

"As elaborate as the environments are in the stories I tell and as brutal as the battles they fight can be, everything ultimately serves the joint purpose of exploring complicated social issues through the lenses of characters that would be affected by it in real life."

This excellent memoir traces the story of Frank Biondi’s epic forty-year career taught me much and reinforced many important things to remember as a businessperson, father, spouse, and friend. You are your values--but only if you truly live them. The way you treat others is so much more important than material things, titles, or feeling important. We should all strive to Be Frank! -- J. What is TREK TAKES? Well, Star Trek fans... PICARD is back for the third and final season. As a lifelong fan of the series and a critic of the franchise's direction over the past few years, Alex will talk with film critic and writer Lucas Hardwick, sharing their "first takes" on every episode--coming at you every Friday morning throughout the 10-episode season three.
This week: it's Lucas and Alex's first take on the ninth episode of season three of PICARD: VOX. Up for discussion: the guys ponder if this is the best Star Trek they've seen in a long time...the show's handling of the Borg conflict, cinematography, red herrings throughout the season...parallels between the show and the world we live in, as well as the theories of friends of the show Mugatu, Clint, and JMac...clever uses of the transporter, the character of Data and how he has evolved over the years, as well as the Borg...the death of a favorite character (as foreseen by Alex)...the parallels between the Borg and people under 25...the possibility of a Star Trek reset, where the fleet is destroyed or retrofitted to prevent Borg infiltration. Could Bill Crouse, a designer of retro-looking starships, be involved in such a reset?
They also chat about WonderFest, a convention in Louisville, Kentucky, and have time for show and tell (best taken in as a subscriber!)
