We're talking about the importance of having an exceptional relationship with your spouse and how it can positively impact every aspect of your life. We'll be sharing some of the bumpers that have kept us together, such as our morning and evening routine, and the importance of creating a family bumper that involves the entire family, not just our relationship. We believe that creating these bumpers can strengthen your relationship and create a sense of stability and security.
There are three other things that we've found to work, including our strategy for taking a month-long vacation to focus on our relationship and recharge. We believe that taking time away from our busy lives can re-energize us and reignite our passion for each other. It's important to make time for each other, even when life gets hectic. We understand how important it is to prioritize your relationship, and we'll be discussing how we make sure to have a "Fri-Date Day" instead of a "Date Night" every week to stay connected.
We hope this episode provides valuable insights and practical advice for creating and maintaining a healthy and fulfilling relationship with your spouse.
What you'll hear in this episode:
[6:00] First Bumper: No Work At Night
[16:45] Second Bumper: Traveling To Get Away and Destress
[26:15] Final Bumper: Fri-Date Instead of Date Night

We have discussed previously on the podcast the concept of the 3x rule when it comes to money. Essentially, no matter where you are on the money spectrum, on average, we think we would ultimately be happy if we made 3x our current income.
Turns out, this is not the case as each time you get closer to that number, your 3x increases as well. Studies taking place in the "blue zones" of the world, and interviews with centenarians, also show that money does not correlate with the longevity of life or happiness.
Rob and Kim share their perspectives on this topic as they are work their way through reading The Psychology of Money by Morgan Housel.

Do you frequently tell a story that begets pity upon yourself or your situation? We all have one. If you're unsure what it is, ask a close friend or spouse for insight.
This story may be holding you back from achieving more in your life. While the feelings it evokes may be understandable, it's important to recognize that it may be serving as a crutch that prevents you from moving forward.
Elevate your success and happiness by adopting a tradition of leaving behind these specific stories and reframing your perspective. This simple action can make a drastic impact on your ability to achieve your goals.
