Thank Drake" and written by Jon Caramanica. It got a LOT of attention in multiple hip hop circles due to the audacity of the statement. We had no choice but to talk about this. We dive into the article and ask does the author make a good pernt? We ask what other artists were signing before Drake? And we also consider what the next decade might bring us.

There was a dope ass video from MURS (for HipHopDX) where he talked about the price of having the GOAT tag. He asked is it more of a burden or a blessing. In fact, what specifically prompted him to talk about this, was all the criticism Eminem has been receiving for his latest album, Revival.
Big Therm and Rozay (J-Boss couldn't join us) talked about it by asking three questions. 1 - Once you reach a certain level in the game where few have been, are there no more accolades to be had? Murs thinks so. He also says it leaves the door wide open for hate.
2 - Murs said "why wouldn't Em get the top tier talent? Because he's "Emin fuckin em" . He's not trying to cross over and not trying to sell units, why wouldn't he have that "same level of talent" on the album"? We asked, what is this "same level of talent" he speaks of?
3 - MURS says we must allow the greats to trust the process that got them there. We asked...."is he right"?

Big Krit just dropped the double album '4Eva Is A Mighty Long Time'. Leading up to the release, Aaron McKrell wrote this article for Hip Hop DX:'2Wice As Nice: 5 Trademarks Of A Classic Double Album'. We felt it was only right that we did an episode about double albums. Keep in mind, this isn't a Big Krit album review or a ranking of double albums. Instead, we just asked where did double albums belong in hip hop today? Do they still hold the importance they once had?
After that, we broke down Aaron's article. He listed 5 things that every rapper should consider when crafting a double album. We talked about each of his pernts and decided if we agreed or not.
Finally, we ran down a list of rappers who hadn't dropped double albums yet and asked would it be dope if they did.
This is a ridiculously long ass episode, but we felt we had to make up for being gone for 2 weeks. We don't plan on that happening again. Apologies, playboi.

The other day, Big Therm told Rozay that he fux with Cardi B, but that she's going to need another hit if she wants to survive. Rozay didn't think that was necessarily true. A discussion ensued shortly after, but Rozay decided to bring it all to a halt by saying "this would be good for the show". Dr Tarman is one of the first clinicians working in food addiction in Canada and ran the first three week inpatient treatment program in food addiction last year. She is the author of Food Junkies: the Truth about Food Addiction.

Aliyah Baskerville is a licensed massage therapist that operates out of Fed Hill in Baltimore. I took a trip to her shop one evening in the middle of March (Women's History Month) to chop it up with her about the life of a masseuse, what it was like leaving her 9 to 5 for entrepreneurship and some details about the pop up shop she held just a few days prior to our talk. I don't want you to spend Valentine's day alone, just because you're single. Kiki from the Cocktales podcast doesn't want you to either. So she is back on the show and this time she's giving all the single folks Valentine's day advice. Last time she was on, she gave us some great tips on how to survive cuffing season. The reason I always have Kiki on is because she gives good, practical advice. Not the clickbait nonsense you see online all the time.
So anyway, here are the tips she gave:
5 - Catch up with your family
You know those family members that you're cool with, but you find you only keep up with them via social media? Well, if they're single, now's the perfect time to catch up with them. Give them a call and tell them you're coming over on Valentine's day. Don't take no for an answer. Don't show up empty handed either. Bring something to eat or drink or both.
4 - Check up on your New Year's resolutions
So remember those goals/plans/resolutions you had at the beginning of the year? How are they going? If they've fell off the radar, dust them off and review them. Where are you slipping? Whatever it is, get to it. Pick one resolution and choose to give it extra energy on Valentine's day. You should probably incorporate someone, because the aim is to not have you spend Valentine's day alone.
3 - Netflix and chill with friends
This is a good one for the single folks (ladies mostly). Just get together and binge the hell out of some Netflix series. Or hell, make it an Amazon night. I heard Sneaky Pete is good (I got bored after like two episodes though). Don't watch any Valentine day shows though. That might just depress/upset you.
2 - Go out (non romantically) and party
Find a club or house party and go have a good ass time. This one might be a little risky because there might me some non-single folks looking to party on Valentine's day. What you might need to do is look specifically for a singles party. Grab some friends and go. So not only will you not have to spend Valentine's day alone, but you might even find someone you can celebrate next Vday with (this is a stretch, but just go with it).
6 - Go out (non romantically) in a more relaxed environment
So for those that don't like to party/club, there are lounges and the like for you. These are places that will get you out the house, but in environments where you can actually have a convo with someone without having to scream over music. Again, it's possible you might run into couples with this one, but just do your homework before you decide to head out.
