This week, we check out one of the most flamboyant, wild, and successful boxers who has ever lived. His outfits. His crazy entrances. And even his in ring style was different from all the rest. This week, we look at the first high school basketball player to be drafted by the NBA. The problem was, by that time, he was already accumulating a criminal record that would far surpass anything he would ever do on the basketball court. He was accused of awful things, including an allegedly doing one of those awful things to a future member of The Supremes. He never learned his lesson. Kept drinking, shooting heroin, and finally robbing drug dealers to make a living. This all ends as badly as you might think, but the story isn't over, because his son (a junior) has done even worse things!! He never quite achieved the accolades he wished for, on the track, so he devoted his life to his passions, teaching his son to race, and getting arrested.
