Coffee with Friends is a non-sports, sports podcast that doesn't talk sports, but sometimes it does. Confused yet? You should be. Joined by loyal sidekick Tim, they engage in Prank Call Challenges, single elimination tournaments about anything called 8 to 1, Song of the Week, Timmy’s Worst of the week, Stump the Expert, Throne of Awesome and much more. Mr. Coffee has over eight years of podcasting under his belt and has found a cast of characters in his podcasting endeavors. Those characters will be his "friends" in this nonsense of confusion.

First time guest, Paul Robertson joined us to talk all about the glorious times watching former Tigers go deep into the MLB playoffs. Before that, Uncle Carl talks about some adventures at an all Woman's College, Paul picks his favorite Fall Food/Drink, Timmy hates LeBron and much more!

After some inspirational music and Steve hating the 8-1, Tim disappoints everyone with an awful worst of the last three months.Finally, they get to the meat of the show and dive deep into all things ridiculous about D2. Our NBA Guy Rick is back and we talk #sports! His 8-1 is NBA Big 3's and then the main topic Rick and Timmy predict where the big time free agents of the summer will land. As always, nonsense is littered in. Have a great summer!
Big time show for Coffee Nation! The four Throne of Awesome finalists squared off in a Dinner Party battle. They each drafted four guests to bring and then Timmy eliminated the contestant with the worst guests. They then drafted food and drink to bring to the party and Timmy eliminated another contestant. Finally, the two remaining gave a toast for why they deserved to be Cycle 2 ToA Champ.Jason Hollister, Steve Harris, Tecmo Bowl Man and Michael Watkins were the competitors and all of them did a great job. Very fun show!
A new friend has joined the Coffee with Friends universe, and his name is Tommy Ruffennach. The show opens with a prank to 97.1 The Ticket and then Tommy talks about his dreams of being Zac Efron, his favorite one day stop in FL, he gets confused when we talk about 80's sitcoms and we discover which NFL QB he wants to tickle. Plus, much more!
Loaded show where we welcomed back Ryan "The Keith" and quickly knocked out the Final 4 of the tourney. We then talk about 300 stolen cattle, late night throwing up at the ocean, LFO, "out of the box" sports idea, Office characters rankings and of course the tourney finals. Carl and Timmy welcomed in Tecmo Bowl Man, AKA "Mr. Brad Bell", who is one of the most well known Tecmo Bowl experts in the world. We ask him all sorts of questions and he does not disappoint. Brad also helps decide who the Final 4 competitors are in the Team Name Tourney, with one giant upset that may shock you.

Jason Hollister returned as the guest, and after some BBMak and Tim being angry, we make some predictions regarding The Sandlot reboot that is going to be a TV series. After that, we continue with the tournament to get down to the final 32 competitors.
We have another loaded show, and this one is with 2nd time guest Michel Bayley. They start off discussing the Water Boy attacking a professor, Carl picks a song no one has heard of, Tim has a new segment and Michel picks an out of the box topic for Stump the Expert.Everyone then tells some dating app stories and Michel then picks the winners of the MLB first round for the Team Name Battle.
With the big four major US sports, we have 123 teams. What if we took those names and made them battle against other team names? Does it make sense? No. Oh well. We have on John Hill for the first installment, where we go through the 16 NFL 1st round match-ups.John and Carl also talk about the time in 2002 when they were accidentally invited into the basement of a local football coach. Alex Shore sits in as the friend and immediately talks about pooping and peeing. After he grows up, he talks sports and favorite holidays. Later on, he tells us if we should invest our time and energy into different things.
We promised to fix audio after the pilot episode and we delivered! Steve Harris makes his debut, and they talk talk sandwiches, rivalries, agave plant trading and MLB divisional series. Steve does a great job in his first podcast, and it is amazing what good audio does for a show.Shout out to the Overtime Sports Network for adding us!
