Submit ReviewSasha Mark (comedian) joins the show for the first time to tell us about a Grindr match that he hooked up with pre-pandemic who went a little wild during COVID: anti-vax, anti-woke, etc...and then still wanted to hook up with Sasha again after blocking him on every social media app. It's a wild ride and a great Block Tale for Sasha's first appearance on BP. And that's not all the gay dating app stuff we get into, as Sasha takes us on a deep--and we mean DEEP--dive into the world of Sniffies, a dating app that really cuts to the chase, even faster than Grindr, which we did not think was possible. We also chat about grilled cheese, gas station bathrooms, and chugging beer. Plus, we also get into social media birthdays, AI weirdos, Israel Adesanya, and we all learn that Spencer Rice is 60 and we do not like it.
If you want to feel much younger again, throw $5 into the fountain of youth, which you can only find at patreon.com/blockedparty, where $5/month gets you access to THREE bonus episodes every single month. Or FOUR, if you wanna donate at $8/month or above. And if you did, last week we released a special hangout episode with our very funny friends from Evil Men that you won't wanna miss only for those bourgeois enough to donate at that level. And coming this week for all our donors, it finally happened: Stefan drove for the first time in over a decade. It went...well, you'll see how it went as we videotaped it all. Plus we got merch discounts, a great Discord, and more, so check it out!

Bridget Todd (podcaster) joins the show to tell us about how she acted on a feeling many of us have had: frustration with Neil deGrasse Tyson's lame posts to the point where she needed to block him. Thankfully there's no frustration to be had with the great content on this episode, as we discuss the various ad reads we've had to undertake for our respective shows, Gamer Goo's lame-ass rebrand, how fast food hits different in different areas and countries, and John and Stefan finally recount their long-anticipated hockey pool trip. Plus, Bridget introduces us to #WaterTok and pisses us all off in the process, John sees a good golf tweet (they exist!) and Stefan shows us the wonderful Miami Marlins song written by none other than Creed's Scott Stapp.
If you want this podcast to take you higher, you can head on over to patreon.com/blockedparty, where $5/month gets you access to THREE bonus episodes every single month. Last week, our pal Jesse Farrar joined us for a look at the bleak celebrity shout-out website Memmo, and coming this week, if you're an $8/month donor or above, you'll get the special bimonthly bonus episode which this time takes the shape of a hangout episode with our friends from Evil Men. You won't wanna miss it!

Ryan Beil (comedian) joins the show and it's a long way from being our first-ever bonus episode guest, as he tells us the story of how A&W commercials changed his life...until he was fired from them. And then until he was rehired by them. And then fired again. It's a story that will resonate for Canadians and actors everywhere, and ends with Ryan forced to block the account of the beloved fast food chain. There are many great things that will resonate with the listeners this week, as we discuss dogs, Old Guys, old tweets, KFC's Oopee, and even though John and Stefan are now back from their vacation together, this episode was recorded before we left, so you're gonna hear all about it. Plus, Ryan tells of how his algorithm changed after spending a month in Regina, we ponder about our blue check futures, John watches Mancow get "waterboarded", and the Blocked Boys agree to perform a one-act play together.
And once we do that one-act play? Well, it'll be over on our Patreon! For that, and more great bonus content, head on over to patreon.com/blockedparty. You'll get three fun bonuses every month, including last week, as we had Maddy Kelly on for a mailbag episode that was a great time and this week, Jesse Farrar returns to the show for the second-ever episode of "Did You Get the Memmo?", our look at Canada's answer to Cameo. Plus you get merch discounts, access to our Discord, and more. Check it out.

Jackie Pirico (comedian) joins the show for the first time to tell us about an ex who didn't treat her very well, and so she had to result to some very intoxicated commenting on his Instagram that led to a big-time block. Whomst among us has not committed such an action? Thankfully we are sober for this episode, as we learn an awful lot about salt licks and raccoon dogs, Stefan tries to get John to reveal where they're going on their surprise hockey pool trip this week, and Jackie and John compare notes about being caked up. Plus, Jackie reveals her frustration with on-stage photos, Stefan talks about his excitement for The Pope's Exorcist, and John finds the best MMA fighter tweet of all-time, courtesy of the UFC's biggest himbo, Paulo Costa.
If you want some more himbo content, check out all the bonus content from your two favourite himbos, the Blocked Boys. Head on over to patreon.com/blockedparty, where $5/month gets you access to THREE bonus episodes every single month. Last week, we posted a Hell Block with our friend Bryan Quinby, where him and John discuss being blocked by Disturbed lead singer David Draiman and this week, you'll get a great mailbag episode featuring our friend Maddy Kelly. Plus, we've got a great Discord, merch discounts, and tons more. Give it a peek and support your favourite boys.

Jacob Balshin (comedian) joins the show with what may be the best Block Tale in show history, a 15-minute epic saga in where Jacob plays a memorial show for a fellow comedian at a gas station run by "Barb", a wild, 60 year-old showrunner who doesn't like how the show goes and makes Jacob pay with a block. It's a tale that truly has to be heard to be believed. As for what you'll hear on the rest of the show, we get into KFC Double Downs, cotton candy, gaslighting, and an extended meditation on Ontario's finest bulk food chain, Bulk Barn. Plus, we discuss Jacob showing up to a show and discovering someone he matched with on Tinder was also on the bill, a famous Lady Gaga interview, and Stefan brings us a big Joey update. A colossus of an update, if you will.
If you want a colossus of content, head on over to patreon.com/blockedparty, where $5/month gets you access to THREE bonus episodes every single month, PLUS our entire, massive back catalogue. Last week, Rachel Feltman joined us to learn about Popular Mechanics for Kids, and this week, Bryan Quinby joins the show to talk about a very special POD Kast block with John: the lead singer of Disturbed, David Draiman. Plus we got merch discounts, an exclusive Discord, the $100 Club with lots of fun bonuses, and MORE! So support the show and get tons of cool stuff TODAY!

It's been 226 episodes and we somehow have only just now arrived at our first-ever online gaming block, as Ben Fawcett (Popcorn for Dinner, Not Even a Show) joins us to detail how he broke the "unwritten rules" of FIFA online and ended up having to block a guy for pestering him about it. After Producer Dan's vacation, it's our first episode in 2.5 weeks and we shake off the rust by getting into university newspapers, Cards Against Humanity, mythical birds, and Dan gives us all the details about his vacation and by that we mean, he tells about his really bad farts when he got back. Plus, we chat about NBA player Josh Hart's social media presence, weird guys on Capitalism Twitter, and Hugh Grant's memorable Oscars' red carpet performance.
If you want us to roll out the red carpet for you, head on over to patreon.com/blockedparty, where $5/month gets you access to THREE bonus episodes every single month. This week, our friend Rachel Feltman returns to the show to dissect the Canadian kids' show Popular Mechanics for Kids, and we've got a very special Cullen the Herd coming up next week you're gonna love. We also have merch discounts for every single donor, good for our GREAT new merch designed by Graydon Speace over on our merch page at merch.blockedparty.com. Check it out!

Bobby Warrener (comedian) joins the show to tell us about a real-life block courtesy of living with fellow comedian Will Hannigan. It turns out drinking, drugs, and comedians living together is a bad combination, as Bobby learns the hard way when he gets kicked out of his house after being very stupid one night. The story isn't all bad though, as it is a stepping stone to Bobby's (and Will's) eventual sobriety and they are back to being great friends. And we make great friends with Bobby on this episode as well, as we chat about teacher fashion, the newest in WHL names, Mr. Hands, underground rappers, and Stefan cannot resist showing Joey to Bobby. Plus, Bobby has gamed his algorithm to only show him nice things, Stefan brings a crazy Jordan Peterson quote to the show, and John finds a woman online who makes people pay her to come up with deranged baby names for them.
If you want your algorithm to also have some nice things, you can head on over to patreon.com/blockedparty, where $5/month gets you access to THREE bonus episodes every single month. Last week, Brandon Ash Mohammed joined us in-studio for a fantastic mailbag episode, and with Stefan having a license in hand, John is now going to have to actually teach him what to do behind the wheel. Plus! We just launched some brand-new merch thanks to our friend Graydon Speace, and he made four absolutely killer designs for us you won't wanna miss. Every Patreon sub comes with a merch discount, so don't miss out! Hit up merch.blockedparty.com for all the stuff.

Caitlin Durante (comedian) joins the show IN-STUDIO, as they were up the coast for a Bechdel Cast tour and decided to continue on to Vancouver for a few beautiful days in February. Lucky us! This episode is a weird time-warp, recorded a few weeks ago as Producer Dan is now on vacation, but what a time warp it is, as Caitlin describes a time that they were "frothing" with horniness and ended up in a weird Bumble situation with a guy who was very unstimulating conversationally, but was hot. So it is what it is. And it doesn't stop there, as we get into Roseanne's doomed comedy set, mullets, Heathcliff's "sexy" girlfriend, and we try to bet on the Puppy Bowl. Plus, landlords with weird solutions, a very sexy "overseen" text at a New York Islanders game, and Caitlin tells us about their new social media activity, which is stitching "I'm a Believer" by Smash Mouth into dramatic movie scenes.
If you want something to believe in, head on over to patreon.com/blockedparty, where $5/month gets you access to THREE bonus episodes every single month. Plus our whole damn back catalogue, which is nearly 150 episodes deep. Wowza! This week, it's another out-of-town friend joining us in studio, as Brandon Ash Mohammed returns to the show for a mailbag episode and we answer your burning questions. We also have merch discounts, an awesome discord, and the vaunted $100 Club, so get into it!

Emily Heller (comedian, writer) gets blocked by a comedian who took a turn for the worse at some point and ended up at January 6th. Whether Emily was blocked pre-January 6th or not, an inflammatory tweet on the fateful day sealed it, and she lived to tell the Tale. She also lives to tell us a bunch more stuff, as we chat about pull-out couches, doormats, writing jokes in our dreams, and we learn an awful lot about hot peppers. Elsewhere, we also chat about Tarot TikTok, our friend dril has a great tweet about the state of Twitter, and Stefan shows us a truly cursed promoted tweet reply. And if that's not enough, John and Emily's recent friendship over Jeopardy! explodes in the Top 3 and we decide that we may have to start an entire podcast about it.
If you want more and varied episodes of this podcast, head on over to patreon.com/blockedparty, where $5/month gets you access to THREE bonus episodes every single month. Last week, we posted two great episodes, one for our $8 and above donors where John watched Goodfellas for the first time and dissected it with our friend Dan O'Sullivan, and another which was the first in a new series we're calling Heck/Cullen, where John and Stefan do a bit more of a serious-style interview with one of our more interesting friends. Episode 1 featured Steve Sladkowski from PUP, and it was a blast! We've also got merch discounts, a great Discord, and more, so check it out!
Emily Heller is primarily a writer who you can follow on Twitter at @mremilyheller and you can listen to her podcast, Baby Geniuses, wherever you get your pods. You can also save $5 per square foot if you live in Los Angeles County and get rid of your lawns, apparently.

Alex Schmidt (Secretly Incredibly Fascinating) is most likely our nicest guest ever and comes down into the internet trenches with the Blocked Boys to tell the tale of how he was blocked by the "Today I Learned" subreddit for having the audacity to have his listeners cite his podcast when posting facts on their subreddit. It's truly one of the more baffling blocks in show history, but makes for a great Tale. And Alex makes for a great guest as we discuss time zones, Alex leaving Twitter, and a conversation about the Grammys leads to the fellas deciding they're going to try and win one. Also not to be missed is Stefan putting in a virtuoso performance on the Learned League "Iconic Tweets" quiz and it's John behind the wheel of "Real or Fake" as he puts Stefan and Alex to the test with a taco restaurant's insane menu that our friend Bryan Quinby showed us a few weeks ago.
If you want something real, you can head on over to patreon.com/blockedparty, where $5/month gets you access to THREE bonus episodes every single month. Yesterday, we released the first video episode of "Stefan Takes an L", the soon-to-be recurring series where Stefan learns how to drive, and John teaches him. In this episode, Stefan takes his written test...does he pass? Or will the nerves get to him, knowing that if he fails, the entire internet will laugh at him? You'll have to donate to find out!
Alex Schmidt is a former multi-day Jeopardy! champion and the host of Secretly Incredibly Fascinating, a great podcast about facts. Debra DiGiovanni (comedian) keeps us rolling on our "First-Timers Club" Sweeps Month, as she makes her show debut with a very strange PRE-block, as she discovers a comedian who went after fat people had blocked her without Deb ever interacting with her or saying anything about the routine at all. It's a fitting block for a wild episode, as we talk Tim Horton's, insane American "coffees", Trader Joe's, visas, and mean border guards. Plus, Deb tells us about her "Fake Boyfriend Fridays", Stefan gives us an update on the whole Twitter API fiasco, and John receives an unhinged message from a patron over on the POD Kast Patreon.
If you want to donate to OUR Patreon, you can head on over to patreon.com/blockedparty, where $5/month gets you access to THREE bonus episodes every single month. Last week, we wrapped up our "...And Just Like That" S1 review with Alison Rosen, and later this month we have lots of fun stuff coming, including the first episode of "Stefan Takes an L", the series where John teaches Stefan to drive, and in keeping with the first-time theme, John will be watching Goodfellas for the first time and we'll be dissecting it with Dan O'Sullivan.
Debra DiGiovanni is a comedian who is about to head out on a big tour including some dates in Canada and the US, which you can check out at her website, debradigiovanni.com. You can follow her on Twitter at @DebraDiGiovanni and on Instagram at @debradg.

Sweeps Month is BACK baby, and this year, the theme is "First-Timers Club"! It's all guests making their first appearance on the show, and we are thrilled to have Nathan Macintosh (comedian) join us for the first episode of our biggest month of the year. Despite being a First-Timer, Nathan immediately gets into the vibe of the show as we go after zombies as villains, saying no to things, the Rocky movies, and we go very heavy on the video game content, touching on games both old and new. He also gets disappointed when a follower makes a promise that he gets nowhere near following through on. Elsewhere, Nathan has a bunch of pilots following him after a joke of his goes viral in pilot world, Stefan gives us the latest update on the continuing train of bad decisions Elon Musk is making with regards to Twitter, and John's issues with Mr. Beast's curing of the blind sparks a whole discussion about YouTube content creation.
If you want more of the content we create, head on over to patreon.com/blockedparty, where $5/month gets you access to THREE bonus episodes every month. Continuing with the First-Timers theme, this month will see the first episode in the new video series where John teaches Stefan how to drive called "Stefan Takes An L" and the first episode in our new interview series, Heck/Cullen. PLUS! This week, Alison Rosen joins us for the conclusion of the "...And Just Like That" series. We also have merch discounts, live show discounts, a great Discord, and a lot more, so check it out!

Alexander Edward (Minion Death Cult) finally guests on a main episode and it may not surprise you that the guy who has a podcast about Weird Facebook Guys was blocked by a Weird Facebook Guy. Go figure! It's a strange episode (even moreso than usual) as John is suffering from a fever and Stefan and Alex had unfortunate BMs just before recording, but we persevere and dig into the weird lore behind Betty Boop, go over some of our favourite Dumb Guy Facts, and John recounts the time he drank 5.2 litres of pop in one night. Plus, Alex gives us the scoop on Diamond's funeral, Stefan shows us the most poorly-cooked steak he's ever seen, and John shows the fellas the grumpy side of Curling Twitter.
If you want to be on our good side, you can head on over to patreon.com/blockedparty, where $5/month gets you access to THREE bonus episodes every single month. Last week, Bryan Quinby joined us to weigh in on the penultimate episode of "...And Just Like That", and this week, it's a big showdown as Trivia Party returns! Meg is away on holidays so John takes over as Quizmaster for a battle between the Go Off Kings and bigsofttitty.png. It goes about as well as you'd expect. PLUS! Sweeps Month is coming up with a lot of great content, we've got merch discounts, a lovely Discord, and way more! So get into it!

Darcy Michael (comedian) returns to the show after a nearly 4-year hiatus from being an in-studio guest to tell us about a right-wing website getting ahold of his and his husband's YouTube and firebombing the comments, leading to a collaboration with YouTube to block over 10,000 accounts at once. It's a bad-ass move and Darcy wastes no time getting re-acquainted with Stefan as we discuss Stefan's bidet, Connor Bedard, our hockey pool, the sorry state of the Vancouver Canucks, Darcy tells us about him and Jer touring America last year, and Darcy weighs in on whether or not Stefan is a power bottom. Plus, Darcy tells us about Drag Queen Storytime, Stefan breaks down the very fake "got her number" tweet, and John talks about his dislike of a recent Jeopardy! champion.
If you want to be a champion, you can head on over to patreon.com/blockedparty, where $5/month gets you access to THREE bonus episodes every single month. We are currently very close to being able to teach Stefan how to drive, and we've got merch discounts, an exclusive Discord, live show discounts, and a brand-new BP Lottery, so head on over there and check it all out and support the show!

We are 217 episodes into Blocked Party but Girl God prove that history can still be made, as this is the first time in show history that the two guests on the program have blocked EACH OTHER, and they do it LIVE on the air! Grace Freud and April Clark join us for the mutual blocking as well as to promote their upcoming Vancouver show, where they insist they will need an Air Marshal present. We also discuss tote bags, receiving mild criticism, bumper pool, lawn bowling, summer school, Stefan is back with an I Was Poisoned update, and John finds the most cursed gym ever on TikTok. Plus, a top 3 goes off the rails for both John and Stefan to the point where they need to record one of the few (maybe the first?) addendums in show history.
If you want an addendum to this episode that's a back catalogue with over 150 bonus episodes, then head on over to patreon.com/blockedparty, where $5/month gets you access to THREE bonus episodes every dang month. As you heard on the episode, we are trying to get to 150 $100 Club patrons so John can teach Stefan's broke ass how to drive, and you'll also get tons of other goodies if you join the $100 Club today! Live show and merch discounts, an exclusive Discord channel, super secret bonus episodes, and even more await, so join now!

Erika Gajda (Swipes4Daddy) joins the show to talk about the trials and tribulations of running a very popular Instagram account that requires the use of Tinder, particularly once the folks over at Tinder HQ figure out exactly what Erika is up to and try to make her life that much more difficult. We discover Erika's insane number of burner phones, her attempts to dodge facial recognition software, and how to put the right photos on Tinder so the bots can't figure out exactly who you are. It's a wild ride, and we love every second of it. On this ride, Erika also tells us about the food poisoning bout that led to her cancelling her first appearance and the movies she watched, as John reveals he had a strangely busy movie-watching holiday season also. We also talk That 70s Show, 90-Day Fiancé, reprogramming the algorithm, France's Miss World representative, and Stefan is once again on his "I Was Poisoned" BS.
If you want a lot less BS and a lot more BP, you can head on over to patreon.com/blockedparty, where $5/month gets you access to THREE bonus episodes every damn month. This week, Clare Belford joins us for a mailbag as we begin our quest to get to 150 $100 Club patrons so John is forced to teach Stefan to drive (which we will then film for your enjoyment). And the $100 Club (it's $100/year, not per month) is a great time as you get merch discounts, free live show tickets, every bonus episode, ad-free episodes, and access to the year-end BP Lottery, with exclusive prizes and other fun stuff. So get into it!

Dino Archie (comedian) returns to the show to teach us all about taking the low road, and how a group of impostors pretended to be 90s R&B singer Tony Terry and managed to separate Dino from his own personal Facebook fan page. So take your shoes off and settle in to a great episode where we discuss Stefan and Dan's eventual fight, breaking up fights, our Subway orders, and we debate which fast food employees make the best fighters (public fights were sorta the theme of this one). Plus, Dino shows us a great clip from an open mic where a guy busts a guitar over someone's head, Stefan has a beef with the Sportsnet Plays of the Year, and John's dad draws a potato.
If you want to draw something much better, head on over to patreon.com/blockedparty, where $5/month gets you access to the greatest art imaginable: Blocked Party bonus content. You'll get THREE bonus episodes every month, and if you donate at $8 or more, you'll get even MORE bonuses like the one we did last week where our friend Joshua Custodio came on the show to show us some of professional wrestling's wildest clips. You also get merch discounts, access to our Discord, ad-free episodes, and more, so check it out!

It's the 4th Annual Blocked Party Enemies List, and it's the first time we've recorded this episode before Christmas, as the folks at the damn calendar office wouldn't co-operate. So while you don't get the usual Christmas rundown from the fellas, what you DO get is our annual look at who we want to be mortal enemies with for the upcoming year. Before that, we go over our 2022 Enemies List, where Stefan finds out that he didn't really have an effective vendetta against most of his 2022 Enemies but John actually managed to get a business shut down (probably). And before ALL that, we talk the best Mario game ever, weed drinks, moving to Calgary, Stefan gives his Avatar review, John gets Stefan to agree to organize the 2023 Top Three Weekend, and Dan joins us in doing the Enemies List for the first time ever. FIFTEEN ENEMIES! It's the day after Christmas: no better time to get hatin'.
Also, if you'd like to support the show, head on over to patreon.com/blockedparty. We got lots of cool stuff over there. Bonus episodes. Merch Discounts. Discord Access. It's cool (as I said previously).

It's a historic day at Blocked Party, as we do a Stefan block on a main episode and Mark Little (comedian) sets the record for the fastest return by a guest, coming back only 8 episodes after Appearance #1. Why? Well, our scheduled guest came down with the stomach flu a few hours before recording. Then, John came down with a migraine. With John knowing he barely had an hour before his body gave in, we switched Mark from bonus episode duty to regular episode duty, and John ended up with his "flu game", leaving the pod several times throughout but returning just in time to do an Andrew Dice Clay impression and according to Mark, reveal a more "cool, chill" version of himself. Of course, with John out of the picture, Stefan immediately introduces Mark to Rule 34 and Dewayne, and tries to figure out how he managed to get blocked by the NORAD Santa Tracker. Elsewhere, Producer Dan wears a dress shirt, Stefan reveals he can't read, Elon makes a new and bizarre rule for Twitter, and we wax poetic about the World Cup and 90s reboots.
If you want to be a part of more history, you can head on over to patreon.com/blockedparty, where $5/month gets you access to THREE bonus episodes every month, plus a truly insane back catalogue totalling over 100 episodes. You get it all! 5 bucks! What a deal! Last week, we released the VOD of our live call-in show from November, and Chris James joined us to talk about "...And Just Like That". Plus we've got merch discounts, a discord, ad-free episodes, and more, so be a part of history!

James Hartnett (comedian, Evil Men) joins us to reveal his shameful truth to the BP audience: he has a sports burner account. And it turns out that you can still be a victim of name searching on a harmless burner account, which James finds out when he gets blocked by Sportsnet's own Jeff Blair for a comment that wasn't even directed at him. This episode also sees Stefan revealing a shameful truth, which is that he knows what Bad Dragon [dot] com is, and now, very, very unfortunately, so do you. We spend a good amount of time reviewing the contents of that site as well as bidets, poutine, 90s video games, dessert tables, and John makes friends with a cat. Plus, James has a friend who uses Facebook like Twitter, John asks the guys to weigh in on fudge, and Stefan graces us with the news that the Krassensteins are back on Twitter.
If you want more Krassenstein content (quite literally--we interviewed them a few years back), you can head on over to patreon.com/blockedparty, where $5/month gets you access to THREE bonus episodes every single month. Last week, KC Novak joined for a great mailbag and this week, the VOD from last month's call-in show will finally grace the airwaves now that John and Dan are back from vacation. We also have ad-free episodes, merch discounts, a great Discord, and more. So check it out!

Annie Rauwerda (Depths of Wikipedia) joins the show to tell us about a thing we didn't know existed: a guy who is really into noses. After a guy is in her mentions telling her how much he loves her nose, Annie has a bunch of her friends telling her to block him, but the story takes a few turns from there and ends up being one of the nicer Block Tales we've ever had on the show. And the whole show is nice in general, as we find out we're recording the show on Annie's birthday, the first time a guest has been willing to spend their birthday with us! What a birthday it is, too, as we learn about her new boyfriend, the Wikipedia editing community, and various Wikipedia hoaxes, including the teenager who almost killed an entire language with their Wikipedia posts. Plus, Stefan shows us a bunch of posts from guys who want Elon to invent stuff, John gets outed as a guy who looks like he might own a Tesla, and Annie shows us a piece of underwater fibre-optic cable.
If you want to go underwater with us, you can head on over to patreon.com/blockedparty, where $5/month gets you access to THREE bonus episodes every damn month! This week, KC Novak returns to the show for a mailbag episode where we answer your listener questions, and we are nearing the conclusion of the Sex and the City episodes, plus other fun stuff is on the way. You can also get ad-free episodes, merch discounts, access to our Discord, and more. So check it out!

Alyssa Limperis (comedian, actor) joins the show to give us the heads up that even if you post about your recently deceased father, the bots will still hunt and find you. In this case, it's "RyloStackz" who finds an Alyssa Instagram post about her dad and promises an herbal cure (?) for HPV (???). Thank goodness for that. And thank goodness for the rest of the episode, as we chat about old cell phones and other technologies, Alyssa's high school track career, John's abysmal high school Athletic Director, and the various mispronunciations of our names. Plus, Alyssa shows us her high school photos which causes some reminiscing about late 90s/early 00s "cool" fashion, Stefan gets laid off from his job, and dril gets interviewed in the Washington Post, which causes some commenters to lose their minds.
If you wanna further lose your mind, you can head on over to patreon.com/blockedparty, where $5/month gets you access to THREE bonus episodes every single month. Last week, we had Caitlin Durante on the show to discuss the Canadian children's show Polka Dot Door, and we've got a bunch of other fun stuff up there like merch discounts, access to an exclusive Discord, ad-free episodes, and the $100 Club, which gets you lots of nice goodies. So check it out!

When your scheduled guest doesn't show up, sometimes you have no choice but to resort to your next best option: a very stoned, just-woke-up, groggy Producer Dan. We try to wake Dan up by talking about G Fuel right off the top of the show, and that leads into a discussion about Dan's brand-new kittens (one of whom is named after piss) and his block, which sees him catch an instant block from an online wrestler (the real kind of wrestling). We also dive into Twitter's recent turn to collapse, trading card shows, Stefan learning to drive, and John's excitement for the documentary about the Pepsi contest Harrier Jet turns into a discovery mission for other people who have exploited mail-in contests for their own gain. Elsewhere, Dan buys a blue checkmark, Stefan shares an old Russell Crowe post, and John gives us an update on last week: Dan did indeed show us his single nut.
If you don't want to buy a blue checkmark, how about spending that money on our show instead? We love your support and if you become a patron of the show over at patreon.com/blockedparty, $5/month will get you access to THREE bonus episodes every damn month. This week, it's a Canadian Education episode as we review Polka Dot Door, and we have our first-ever CALL-IN SHOW this Friday, live on Zoom. It's your chance to chat with the Blocked Boys and you have to be a patron to get the link, so join today!

Ola Dada (comedian) joins the show to demonstrate one of the greatest displays of control we've seen in a Block Tale, as someone commenting on his viral joke starts their reply with four words and those four words are enough to earn that person the block without Ola even reading the rest of what they said. What are the words? You'll have to tune in to find out! When you tune in, you'll hear way more than four words from us, as we talk gift wrap, desserts, cheese, curling, Dan's dead nut, adult circumcision, and Stefan receives some "constructive criticism" on his hockey podcast. Plus, we dive into the online presence of alpha males, Twitter's insane last 10 days, and the world grants John the music festival of his dreams.
If you want the bonus content of your dreams, head on over to patreon.com/blockedparty, where $5/month gets you access to THREE bonus episodes every single month. Last week, Becca made her return to the show for a mailbag episode in where she got high beforehand and we all had a lovely time as a result. This week, our continuing look at "And Just Like That" continues, as Danika Thibault returns to give us that key millennial insight into the show. And, we've got our last Zoom live show of the year coming up November 25th for patrons only, so don't miss out!

Lizzy Cooperman (comedian) plumbs the depths of her Facebook block list to find a weirdo who offered to draw her at a stand-up comedy show and then when he showed her the picture...well, let's just say it was problematic. How so? You'll have to listen to find out. And as you listen, you'll hear us discuss Lizzy's podcast, "In Your Hands", where she lets her listeners decide how to live her life, and John, spurred on by an old Eric Andre interview, thinks maybe that should include listening to some more Korn. We also get into assembling IKEA furniture, Crocs, journaling, Instagram verification, Eric Trump, and Buddhist movie reviews.
If you want to bring some more zen into your life, donate to the show at patreon.com/blockedparty, where $5/month gets you access to THREE bonus episodes every single month. This week, we've got a mailbag coming out where Becca makes her triumphant return to the show to answer YOUR questions. Plus, we get close to the end of Sex and the City, we've got a live Zoom show upcoming, and there's even more good stuff around the bend. We also have ad-free episodes, merch discounts, an exclusive Discord and more, so get on over there and check it out.

Brandon Ash-Mohammed (comedian) joins us in-studio for the very first time to regale us with the tale of how he met up with someone who looked like "bootleg Eminem" off of Grindr and then had a very strange hook-up experience that led to a block. And that's not the only Grindr-type experience we get into, as Brandon updates where Stefan and John stand in the gay classification system now that he's met us in person, and he gives Stefan a compliment that Stefan believes is the highest he has received. And speaking of being high, Brandon tries BC weed for the first time and we chat about 90-Day Fiancé, hair loss treatment, Movie 43, Brandon's algorithm, 90s textbook covers, and Bob Costas has himself another weird broadcasting moment.
If you want some more weird moments, head on over to patreon.com/blockedparty, where $5/month gets you access to THREE bonus episodes every single month. Last week, we finally released the video of us taking Jesse Farrar to Canadian Tire, and boy, is it ever fun. We've also got our last Zoom show of 2022 coming up near the end of November, our continuing Sex and the City series, and more great guests and bonus stuff coming down the pipe this month you won't wanna miss. Plus you get exclusive Discord access, merch discounts, and MORE!

Mark Little (actor/comedian) joins the show to, in his words, provide us with a "short, troubling anecdote" about how he was forced to block a guy after he sent Mark a very strange DM and turned out to be...well, not a good guy (a Nazi). Thankfully Mark was able to cut the conversation off before it got too bad and the rest of this episode is neither short nor troubling, as we chat about Mark creating one of the first viral videos ever, Powerthirst, and how that led to an appearance at a weird convention for people who made stuff that went viral (in 2009). In other news, we recorded this episode two weeks ago and Stefan says he's excited for the Canucks season (lol) and that leads to a discussion of hockey fans, EA NHL soundtracks, and Treble Charger. Plus! Hellraiser and other horror movies, the Super Mario movie, YouTube comments on classic rock videos, and John forgot that he already talked about Coyote Ugly last week.
If you want to make sure you hear everything we talk about every week, head on over to patreon.com/blockedparty, where $5/month gets you access to THREE bonus episodes every single month. This week, it's a pair of video episodes as Aaron Warner from ChapoFYM and I Hate This Team joins us to watch some classic hockey highlights in the special $8 tier and above bonus, and finally, the video of us taking Jesse from Canadian Tire will see the light of day. You won't wanna miss it! Plus, you get merch discounts, access to the Discord, live show discounts, ad-free episodes, and MORE!

Zach Cherry (actor, Severance) joins the show to reveal two things about himself: one, that he is a big BP fan, and two, that he could no longer handle the promoted tweets of slow cooker expert and former T-Mobile CEO John Legere, and so he had to dole out the block. Luckily our John doesn't get blocked on this episode, as his viewing of Coyote Ugly sparks a movie conversation, Zach reveals that by listening to our show he has been Joey-pilled, and a look into the phrase origins of "taking the piss" leads us to talking about, well...drinking piss. Elsewhere, we talk about Zach's quest to get as many retweets as possible on a singular tweet, John once again goes viral for just reporting the latest sports happening, and Stefan is back from TwitchCon with the inside scoop on the dreaded foam pit.
Luckily, if you want to consume even more wonderful Blocked Party content, you don't need to break your back! It's just a simple $5/month donation to the show at patreon.com/blockedparty, and that'll snag you THREE bonus episodes every month. This week, Libby Watson joins us to discuss the latest "And Just Like That" episode, and of course coming very soon, we take Jesse from YKS to the danged Canadian Tire store! It's a video episode for the ages you won't wanna miss.

The guests who have travelled the furthest to be in studio and two of our absolute faves, Tom Walker and Demi Lardner (comedians, bigsofttitty.png) join the show all the way from Sydney, Australia to discuss how one of Tom's biggest fans just couldn't handle the fact he got COVID and had to cancel some comedy shows. We have no trouble handling the tough topics on this week's episode though, as we get into some heavy stuff like slot car racing message boards, losing our virginity, witches on Tumblr, cane toad purses, and we go down another Rule 34 rabbit hole that leads to discussion of Goofy's history and we find a truly insane (and hilarious) Looney Tunes drawing.
If you want more insane (and hilarious) content, head on over to patreon.com/blockedparty, where $5/month gets you access to THREE bonus episodes every single month. Last week, we put out another very special in-studio episode as the YKS Boys, Jesse and db, joined us all the way from Nashville for a fun hangout. Plus we've got higher tiers for more bonuses, merch and live show discounts, a great Discord, and more!

And we....are....LIVE! On the very first live edition of Blocked Party, Jesse Farrar (YKS, Go Off Kings) joins the Blocked Boys in Vancouver for a show in front of 110 of the podcast's finest fans, and it turns out having a live audience there is an excuse to get wild, as Jesse doesn't know how to use TikTok and gets himself blocked by "one of his guys", causing him to delete his entire account and start anew. Elsewhere on the show, Jesse teaches us about "reps" through the infamous "Booty Jordans" and Stefan thinks the name "Top Three Weekend" is wrong. Plus! Jesse meets Kiki, and we discuss phone numbers, toilets, A&W Canada, Jeffrey Toobin, Stefan getting mean online again, and John gets Jesse a gift: a National Geographic for Kids book about 9/11.
If you want to get yourself a gift, you can head on over to patreon.com/blockedparty, where $5/month gets you ACCESS to THREE bonus episodes every single month! As you may know, a lot of our friends descended on Vancouver this week and that means some great bonus episodes are coming your way, including a hangout ep with the YKS boys IN STUDIO, and John and Stefan take Jesse to Canadian Tire for a very special bonus video episode. Plus your sub comes with merch and live discounts, access to our Discord, and a lot of other very cool stuff. So get into it!

Dana Smith (comedian) makes her debut on the show, and so does our new opening bit, much to Producer Dan's consternation. The rest of the episode doesn't make him upset at all though, as Dana tells us about her and her husband (and past guest) Tim Gray's wedding, which happened live on CBC Radio, and their upcoming big move to Toronto. John also gives Stefan and Dan some grief for showing up to recording 3 hours early, we discuss some plans for the upcoming live shows, we learn about Winnipeg, and Dana and John encourage Stefan to sing more. Plus, Dana has us weigh in on a suspicious DM, Joe Biden has a strange way of complimenting Elton John, and we dig into the vault for Patrice O'Neal's take on Radiohead's "Creep".
If you don't want to be a creep or a weirdo, you can head on over to patreon.com/blockedparty, where $5/month gets you access to THREE bonus episodes every single month. IT'S EPISODE 200!!! A double century's worth of BP can only be celebrated in one way, and that's by getting Dave Roth (Defector) on the show to Remember Some Guys. It turns out that a unique way you can get blocked by Republican pests on Twitter is not to try and get in a flame war with them over politics, but by simply commenting which baseball player their ratio'ed stat line might be best compared to. It's a block that only Dave could pick up and he uses it to get blocked by such luminaries as Comfortably Smug. The rest of the episode is all comfort and perhaps not a lot of smug, as we go extra long and talk about some of our favourite topics like bidets, the weird guys on Twitter who show their junk to porno bots, carpeted bathrooms, our student meals, and we do indeed Remember Some Guys in our Top 3. Plus, Erick Erickson, Stefan's N64 hot takes, and John finally reveals the type of Wife Guy he is.
If you want to be a Blocked Party Wife Guy, you can donate to the show at patreon.com/blockedparty, where $5/month gets you access to THREE bonus episodes every single month. Last week, Andrea Jin joined us in our continuing series where we review "And Just Like That", the new Sex and the City spin-off, and we've got a sweet $100 Club where you can get a Cameo from Stefan and John, all the bonus episodes plus an extra one every other month, merch discounts, ad-free episodes, and an exclusive Discord channel. No better way to celebrate episode 200 than with a $100 Club membership!

Ryan Williams (comedian) returns to the show and tells us about the perils of having a very common first and last name combo, as he duels with a conservative politician on Twitter who is also named, well, Ryan Williams. Lucky for us, the Ryan Williams we love is the one who is guesting on our show, and he reveals himself to be a "John guy" and all that entails over the course of an episode where we touch on football, Farrah Fawcett, Queen Elizabeth, and we workshop what the new intro for the show should be with next week's new theme song and whether or not the show should add a soundboard. John also gets plagued with the news of a "Tim Allen drum kit" and Stefan pays tribute to us recording on 9/11 with an unfortunate podcast moment from last year.
If you want some more fortunate podcast moments, you can head on over to patreon.com/blockedparty, where $5/month gets you access to THREE bonus episodes every single month. Last week, we posted a video episode with Alison Rosen where we watched Canadian Heritage Minutes, and this week, Andrea Jin rejoins the show to talk Sex and the City. Plus, we've got merch discounts, a great Discord, and joining our $100 Club means you get a Cameo from Stefan and John. So don't delay!

Charlie Demers (comedian) returns to the show with the rare Block Tale that has a happy ending, as a weird text exchange with an old friend ends up turning out positively and cooler heads prevail. And speaking of cooler heads, us Blocked Boys and Charlie talk about some pretty cool stuff as Stefan gets sick from the fair, Charlie teaches us lessons about our urine, and John is almost through his first watching of The Sopranos. Plus, we chat about how Charlie actually followed through with more Peep This Out! content after his last appearance on the show, and we get into One Bone shirts, Rob Schneider's new movie, the Pizza Hut "oral history", and we receive perhaps our worst Jibbitz yet.
If you want some more of this show's oral history, you can head on over to patreon.com/blockedparty, where $5/month gets you access to THREE bonus episodes every damn month. Last week, Chris James joined us to talk about Stefan's block by Benny Johnson, and this week, Alison Rosen returns to the show for a Canadian Education video episode, the topic of which will be near and dear to many Canadians' hearts. Plus we've got merch discounts, an exclusive Discord, and a back catalogue of over 100 episodes to keep you company.

It's chaos, baby! And what more would you expect from one of our absolute faves, Racquel Belmonte (comedian), who returns to the show to drive the entire thing directly off the highway and into a rapidly flowing ravine. It starts almost immediately as discussion of The Sopranos devolves into a long segment about pegging, and never really recovers from there. Stefan buys a bidet live on the show after using John's for the first time in a while, while Racquel regales us about a particularly strong bidet in Hawaii that she uhh...used for other purposes. It's not all insane though, as John and Stefan discuss the wedding they went to over the weekend, Harry Styles waxes poetic about chicken nuggets, Twitter goes wild over student debt forgiveness, and we listen in on some Gaelic football commentary. Oh, and Racquel tries profusely to get blocked by The Pope and when she doesn't, agrees to commit a sin live on air. Which one? You'll have to listen to find out!
If you want to commit a more tasteful sin, you can head on over to patreon.com/blockedparty, where $5/month gets you access to THREE bonus episodes every single month. This week, Chris James returns to the show to discuss Stefan getting blocked by Benny Johnson, and last week saw the release of our second Secret Party episode, as Nathan Hare joined us to break down some listener secrets. Plus we've got merch discounts, a great Discord, and MORE. So get on over there, would'ja?

Mo Amir (This is Vancolour) joins the show and brings a little local Vancouver flavour to the podcast, as he gets blocked by a local Member of Parliament despite them never interacting, even after the block when Mo tried to sort it out through official channels. It's a great look into what it means to host a local politics-focused TV show, and how even our government can get down in the muck with us Twitter weirdos. We start out away from our familiar medium by getting into TikTok and paring down our algorithms, and move from there into our favourite older technology: Maxim Magazine. We also chat about casino bands, we get a listener update on Every Buddy's, John's dad gets into Young Sheldon, we read Ryan Giggs' love poems, and Stefan introduces us to Real or Fake: Peep This Out edition.
If you wanna peep some more content out, head on over to patreon.com/blockedparty, where $5/month gets you access to THREE bonus episodes every single month. Last week, our Sex and the City series continued with listener Molly, and this week, it's the triumphant return of SECRET PARTY, the special bonus episodes where we read your listener secrets. It's a rare "BP Nights" version of the show as long-time bonus guest and first-time main episode guest Joshua Custodio (Wrestling Brain) joins the Blocked Boys to give us the inside scoop on why former WWE big man Ryback didn't just block Josh, but then immediately stole the meme he blocked him for. With all of us feeling the juice from the moon being in the sky, things descend quickly as Josh picks a tough opening for John and Stefan won't let John get the intro out, either. Once things finally do get rolling, we talk about the five-year anniversary of the Go Off Kings, John somehow talks his way into watching a Joey, and we get sent a truly cursed Jibbitz from a truly cursed Jibbitz dealer. Plus, we go deep on the odds on Kim Kardashian's new beau, Tony Jefferson, Antonio Brown, cops on Hinge, and John debuts a new impression.
If you want to be our new beau, you can head on over to patreon.com/blockedparty, where $5/month gets you access to THREE bonus episodes every single month, This week, contest winner and listener Molly joins us in-studio all the way from London to discuss episode 4 of "And Just Like That" in our continuing bonus series, and we've got another Secret Party on the way very soon too. Plus we've got a Discord, merch discounts, and more.

Robin Hatch (musician) doesn't pick up the block from the man himself, but a tweet cheekily comparing her positive album review in the Guardian with a less-than-positive review of Kanye's album "Donda" in the same publication earns her a lot of unwanted attention from people who don't quite understand the joke, to the point where she even takes a phone call about it offline. This episode starts with some offline content too, as the Blocked Boys and Robin ponder stick families and Robin offers up yet another pronunciation of "decal" we bet you didn't see coming. From there, we get into Boston Pizza, Tim Hortons' weird "Dream" donuts, celebrity trading cards, the Trapt guy, and Robin gets into it with Selena Gomez's fanbase--which we learn are called "Selenators"--in an attempt to get blocked for the pod.
If you want to be a part of our fanbase, you can donate to the show at patreon.com/blockedparty, where $5/month gets you access to THREE bonus episodes every single month. Sexual Jumanji (Trill Withers Show) makes his debut appearance on the program after we had originally booked him two years ago but some Disney Adults made his life increasingly difficult. We get into that and his block by the Twitter Purchaser himself, Elon Musk, which results in a happy ending when Joe Rogan gets involved to get SexJ (aka "John Musk", Elon's brother) unblocked. That energy permeates the whole episode as we get into angry sports parents, Rudy Giuliani trading cards, and Producer Dan takes a picture of himself pooping. Plus! We get a very good homemade Jibbitz, a Seattle Mariners prospect gets put on the spot, and SexJ tells us about his foray into the world of ventriloquism.
If you want to foray further into the world of Blocked Party, you can head on over to patreon.com/blockedparty, where $5/month gets you access to THREE bonus episodes every single month. Kelly Dwyer (basketball writer) fittingly gets blocked by one of the NBA's all-time leaders in blocks (both on the court and apparently off), for mostly just reporting that people were beefing with Kareem for one reason or another. If we seem a little off this episode, it's because we are forced to record early so Stefan can go on a picnic, which we break down in full detail here. We also get into full details on Canadian beers, upscale-casual restaurants, NHL draft picks, and there's an update on the poop in John's apartment building. Plus! Guitar tones, The Rehearsal, horrible viral tweets, and Kelly breaks down his terrible Twitter Likes situation.
If you want a situation you'll definitely like, head on over to patreon.com/blockedparty, where $5/month gets you access to THREE bonus episodes every single month. This week, Will Weldon returns to the show as we get into Stefan's famous KFC block, and the VOD from last Friday's live show where we broke down horrible Memmos with the boys from Minion Death Cult will also go up. Stacey McLachlan (comedian) returns after a too-long absence from the show to tell us about having to block an Instagram/TikTok dancer for moving in a weird way. Not in general, just weird to Stacey. And we pair that with a very grim listener block to really balance it all out. That's not all the listeners contribute this week, as we get a ton of new Jibbitz for the #JibbitzChallenge, from some more horrible Friends ones to a Yoda one Stefan seems to actually love unironically. We also get into virtual pets, Babygram, hot tubs, Alan Dershowitz's book feedback, the tasteless Fox Sports baseball promo, and Stacey regales us with the crazy story of how her and her husband used a professional wrestling event to name their baby.
If you want to contribute to our baby (this show), you can head on over to patreon.com/blockedparty, where $5/month gets you THREE bonus episodes every single month. Last week, Rachel Schaefer joined us for a fun mailbag, and coming up this Friday, it's another Patrons-only Zoom show as our friends in Minion Death Cult are going to join us for a look at the very Canadian version of Cameo, Memmo. Malik Elassal (comedian) joins the show for the first time to tell us about a friend's ex who went rogue to start the pandemic and forced Malik into blocking her after some very strange comments regarding Malik getting COVID early in the pandemic. After we learn that Malik's day job is as a mattress delivery man, we discuss the logistics of delivering mattresses and Stefan and John dive into their days working as manual laborers. Then, a discussion of what restaurants had to deal with the "rats in the food" urban myths leads to a reappearance of Joey on the program, much to John's chagrin. Plus! Malik's Instagram feed is populated with gym guys, Maya Rudolph loses her mind on Hot Ones, and Stefan finds a wholesome, Megan Thee Stallion-appreciating TikTok.
If you want to appreciate more of our wholesome content, you can head on over to patreon.com/blockedparty, where $5/month gets you access to THREE bonus episodes every single month. Last week, we kept our new "And Just Like That" watchalong series going with a great guest appearance from Cait Raft, and this week, it's a mailbag with a returning Rachel Schaefer. Jesse Thorn (Jordan, Jesse, Go!, Bullseye) joins the show with a very original Block Tale, a first in show history, as he gets blocked by the former head writer of The Late Show with David Letterman for making her sit in traffic. It's a true California Block Tale and in true California fashion, we spend a great deal of the show talking about frozen treats, from Jesse's high-end home ice machine to the best selections to come from the ice cream truck. John also gets roasted for a horrendous analogy, Stefan bucks the trend by being the one to talk about nu-metal with the Alien Ant Farm discourse, and we learn about scromiting. Plus, dogs on roofs, Paul F. Tompkins, and Antiques Roadshow.
Jesse Thorn is a podcaster who is the founder of Maximum Fun and can be heard on "Jordan, Jesse, Go!" and "Judge John Hodgman" on a weekly basis. You can also hear his show, "Bullseye", on NPR. You can follow him on Twitter at @jessethorn.
Rest in Peace to our dear friend Nick Nemeroff. We love you, pal. In lieu of flowers, the Nemeroff family has asked that you make a donation to Planned Parenthood, which was one of the last things Nick did before he passed.

Ginny Hogan (writer/comedian) returns to the show in the midst of her "eat pray love" journey, a 3-week trip to Vancouver Island that ended up with her being too bored. So lucky for us, she decided to head to Vancouver for some standup shows and a visit to BPHQ, as she joins us in-studio and we learn all about her trip, from teaching herself to drive on some of Canada's gnarliest highways to an upcoming wedding in Alaska. And that's not all, as the Jibbitz Challenge begins in earnest with a 3-D printed homemade Jibbitz that may prove to be the best one we get, to a "scrunchie" one that absolutely looks like a butthole. Plus, we chat about Lucky Charms, scheduled tweets, District Fair bake-offs, group chat fails, and Ginny gets blocked by Senate candidate/ghoul Blake Masters for an innocuous foul.
If you want more innocuous content (that is also somewhat foul) then head on over to our Patreon at patreon.com/blockedparty, where $5/month gets you access to THREE bonus episodes every single month. Last week, our video bonus episode with Dan O'Sullivan went live as we introduced him to some awful Dragon's Den and Bar Rescue content, and we go back to the awful well this week as Ben Flores returns for a Canadian Education episode about "Open Mike" with Mike Bullard. Plus we've got some special stuff coming up you won't wanna miss!

Rachel Brodsky (writer) joins the show and immediately proves herself to be one of our smartest guests ever, as she comes up with the perfect answer to "what is the opposite of corn?", helps us with our lacking musical knowledge, and has the rare Block Tale that actually provides a moral and some genuine prescriptive advice. But as always, don't let all of that fool you, as we still drag Rachel way down into the mud with us as we read a Blocked Party Secret that involves us talking about pissing in a tent, a Facebook friend of John's finds a pet rat, and Dan eats Doritos for dinner. Plus! Stefan gives us an update on Jerry Saltz's coffee situation, Rachel introduces us to the new Nerf mascot, and Tim Allen takes some kids to Disneyland.
If you want to go to podcasting Disneyland, you can head on over to patreon.com/blockedparty, where $5/month gets you access to THREE bonus episodes every dang month! Last week, we released a mailbag episode with Producer Dan, and if you're donating at the $8 or $100 Club levels, we got a special video bonus episode coming this week where Dan O'Sullivan joins us to watch some Dragon's Den and Bar Rescue. Plus we got some big news coming up you won't wanna miss, AND we have the Jibbitz Challenge just kicking into high gear. So get into it!

Chris Locke (comedian, Evil Men) returns to the show with a Block Tale that we are all too familiar with: someone you haven't talked to in a decade gets weird in the DMs all of a sudden. That comes off of the back of a discussion about how the internet in general has us bummed lately, and we try to think of ways to return to the halcyon days of being online. It's not all bad though, as we talk horror movies, our emotions, and John's recent return from his honeymoon. Plus, John finally gets a chance to hit back at all the AI Art, Stefan shows us a video of a Rottweiler throwing up an interesting object (which leads to more...interesting discussion), we become shock jocks, and we introduce the Jibbitz Challenge.
If you want to accept the challenge of listening to more BP content, you can head on over to patreon.com/blockedparty, where $5/month gets you access to THREE bonus episodes every single month. Last week, we continued our series where we watch the new Sex and the City with our friend Howell Dawdy, and this week it's another episode of the beloved BP mailbag. Plus we've got merch discounts, a great Discord, and more!

When John’s away, Stefan and Dan will play… and boy, did they ever. Along with co-host DB and returning guest Jon Hendren, the boys discuss the insane shit they’ve made with Midjourney AI, Jon’s blood clot scare, and what sort of huge spiders they’ve got in Australia. As well, Jon lists a murderer’s row of celebs he’s been blocked by (and isn’t entirely sure why). Plus, John calls in from his Hawaiian honeymoon to see how the episode is going… and he’s not exactly surprised with the results.
If you want more results you won't be surprised by, head on over to our Patreon at patreon.com/blockedparty, where $5/month gets you access to THREE bonus episodes every single month. This week, it's the return of our series where we review the next Sex and the City, and this time we'll be joined by our friend Howell Dawdy to break down the extremely weird funeral of Mr. Big. Plus, we've got a huge back catalogue of episodes, a great Discord, merch discounts, and more, so get over there and support the show!

Bryan Quinby (Street Fight Radio) returns to the show to run through an important event in BP history: John and Becca getting married! Becca hops on the show for a little bit to discuss the night that was, from the lovely time we had to Stefan's new suit to Dan almost passing out at dinner. Bryan regales us with the story of his wedding as well, and it's perhaps a bit more wild than John's (not surprisingly). But we've got plenty of non-matrimony content too! Once Becca leaves, we find time to get into legal drugs, the Mormon tradition of "dirty soda", Joc Pederson's fantasy football dispute, and Stefan gets a slap on the wrist from EA. Plus, Bryan gets blocked by a shock jock and we run through our stupidest-ever injuries.
If you want to feel less stupid (or more, I guess), you can support the show over at patreon.com/blockedparty, where $5/month gets you access to THREE bonus episodes every single month. Last week was a busy one as we opened up the mailbag with Molly Lambert and posted the VOD of John's Bachelor Party with a slew of amazing guests including the YKS guys, Chris James, and Tom and Demi. We also have merch discounts, an awesome Discord, over 100 bonus episodes in the back catalogue, and tons more stuff over there so check it out!

Rachel Feltman (author) joins the show to talk about that frightening yet seminal moment in every 11 year-old's life: when they have their first online crush reciprocated and then immediately panic and block them. Rachel runs us through the whole tale as we revisit summer camp all over again. Speaking of seminal life moments, the countdown is on for John and Becca's wedding and we discuss Dan and Stefan's fashion choices for the upcoming affair and wonder who might be the wedding's "fashion wild card" of the evening. You might be surprised by the answer! We also get into Crocs charms, wedding gifts, niche TikTok, burlesque, and Stefan introduces us to a great moment in sports commentary history.
If you want to be a part of more great moments in history, you can support the show by becoming a patron over at patreon.com/blockedparty. Not only will you be helping out the Blocked Boys, but you'll also get a ton of great stuff, as $5/month gets you access to THREE bonus episodes every single month. This week, Molly Lambert joins us for a mailbag episode and the VOD from John's BP Bachelor Party will also go live. Plus we've got the $100 Club with top-secret benefits, merch discounts, a great Discord, and more! So help us, help you today.

After 3 failed attempts, we finally get Alistair Ogden (comedian) on the show to discuss one of our more involved Block Tales of all-time, as he takes an Instagram scammer WAY further into the weeds than they likely ever expected to go. And you know that we go all the way into the weeds too, as Producer Dan is away for this episode and the boys have to try and operate the boards themselves. It turns out to be a successful operation, as the episode sounds great and we feel great as we discuss food poisoning (our own this time), crying, Don Cherry's podcast, and we consider radical leg-lengthening surgery. John also talks about the commercial he was supposed to do for A&W, Alistair briefs us on his wholesome online uncle, and Stefan helps John go viral with a post type he's talked about on the show many times before.
If you want to more tips on how to go viral, you can check out our Patreon over at patreon.com/blockedparty, where $5/month gets you access to THREE bonus episodes every month. This week, Gavin Matts returns to the show to discuss John getting blocked by NHL analyst Kevin Weekes, and this Friday, it's another live Zoom show as Stefan and Dan fête John for his BP Bachelor Party. There will be guests and surprises John has no idea about, and you can only get in by being a patron at any level, so check it out!

Tin Lorica (comedian) joins the show to tell us about the time their roommate just simply had to be ghosted, and John reveals his thoughts on the story and potentially blows the whole thing wide open for Tin. And that's not the only spot we blow up this week, as we go super long talking about who gets to keep the cats in a breakup, Boston Pizza, picking the right anime for John, and the weird Eminem/Minions thing. Plus, we get into Tin's newfound presence on dating apps, great insults on Twitter, the best excuses, and Stefan wins $1 million on Howell Dawdy's show.
If you want to feel like you just won a million bucks, you can head on over to patreon.com/blockedparty, where donating just $5/month will get you access to a massive back catalogue of bonus content that will leave you feeling wonderful for weeks. This week, we've got another super secret bonus episode for the $8 Tier and above, and John will celebrate his Blocked Bachelor Party with our next live show on May 20th, which is exclusive to patrons. He has no clue what's gonna happen and Stefan and Dan got the whole thing planned. It's gonna be great. You also get merch discounts, access to the Discord, and more! So check it out.

Aaron Read (comedian) joins the show to tell us about a time he got blocked for politely asking a Vancouver bagel shop to change their notoriously bad work environment. Why change anything when you can just block people who complain? We find their Glassdoor reviews and go deep on that as well as DVD Easter Eggs, Mad Magazine parodies, and we eat some intense Dutch licorice. Plus, we get into "rise and grind" Instagrams, tarts, Aaron meets Peep This Out, and John wins 10 pounds of fresh lobster.
If you want 10 pounds of fresh content, head on over to patreon.com/blockedparty, where $5/month gets you access to THREE bonus episodes every single month. This week, Maddy Kelly joins us for the first episode of "Stefan the City: And John's Like That", the start of our quest to watch all 10 episodes of the new Sex and the City show. It is not great, but the episode is very fun and will be out this week. Plus, we've got a patron-only Zoom show coming up May 20th, merch discounts on our new shirt available tomorrow, and MORE!

John’s out this week which means Stefan’s in charge. Which means the episode might not get uploaded. But assuming it does, Stefan is joined by guest host Jesse Farrar (YKS, Go Off Kings) and their friend Greg (@weedguy420boner) as they discuss a guy’s big poop, try to contact the spirit of Paul Walker on TikTok, and listen to Producer Dan fart into his fart mic. Greg also regales us with a Block Tale concerning Weird Twitter and the BTK Killer. Will Stefan remember all the segment names? Will Jesse ever come back on the show? And will Stefan remember to submit the episode description to John in time? All this and a guy’s big poop on this week’s ep!
If you don't want to step in a big pile of poop, you should help out the show by donating to the Blocked Boys at patreon.com/blockedparty, where $5/month gets you access to THREE bonus episodes every single month. This week, it's going to be a Canadian Education episode as Stefan and John are finally reunited to introduce a piece of Canadiana to our friend Michael Hale. Plus we've got a super-secret Discord, ad-free episodes, and more. So check it out, ya dummy!

Christine Bortolin (comedian) returns to the show for a third time and in a weird role reversal is she is in studio but Stefan isn't, as he hosts the show remotely from Ontario. His connection is poor but his takes are strong as Christine shows us what it's like to run a music venue's social media when a musician's fans get weird. But it's ok because we get weird as hell too, talking about cheese curds, Brazilian butt lifts, gravity bongs, white-out, and marking papers. Plus, Christine tells us all about her days writing anime fan fiction, Stefan guests on Howell Dawdy's Fast Track, we discuss our favourite niche meme accounts, and the Blocked Boys become the focus of a podcast that makes fun of other podcasts.
If you want to focus more on THIS podcast, you can head on over to patreon.com/blockedparty, where $5/month gets you access to THREE bonus episodes every single month. This week, it's a special John and Becca bonus episode, as they answer your questions about love, sex, and relationships. Mostly about their own relationship, really, but it's a good time. It's a double dose of different on the pod this week as Stefan attends to a family situation so our friend Chris James fills in as a guest host, and we have our first-ever poet on the program, as one of Canada's finest poets, Shane Koyczan, joins us on the show. The episode starts with a poetic bang as Shane gives John easily the most intense "Start the Party!" directions he's ever received, and it only goes on from there as we wonder at just how Shane, who is a devoted listener, even got into Blocked Party in the first place. That aside, the Block Tale absolutely delivers as Shane encounters a fan on Facebook who writes one of the more bizarre screeds in the comments we've ever seen on this show and Chris and John give a dramatic reenactment of it. We also get into returning to live shows, writing poetry during the pandemic, and our usual nonsense like curling video games, a great license plate, terrible stadium food, and Shane introduces us to the "Democracy Manifest" incident.
If you also know your Judo well, you can head on over to patreon.com/blockedparty to THROW us a few bucks (Judo joke) and support the program. In return for that support, you can get wonderful things like the THREE bonus episodes we do every single month, like the Mailbag coming your way this week. Plus we've got the famed $100 Club which gets you access to secret bonus eps, merch discounts, a super-exclusive Discord channel, and a Cameo from Stefan and John. It's a delight, so check it out.

John and Stefan return from John's bachelor party weekend and lived to tell the tale, as we welcome Cody Johnston (Some More News) onto the show to tell HIS tale, about being blocked by John Mayer on Tumblr of all places. We get into Cody's recurring bit on Jay May, as he calls him, and how it led to the eventual block, as well as how it spawned a lot of camaraderie in his DMs from Mayer fans and haters alike. And of course we talk about the most low-key bachelor party in history, as John and Stefan recount the tales of playing FIFA, poker, and Biñho, and the weirdness of their Air BnB, which was essentially a repurposed wedding venue that was set up when they arrived to host a wedding. Plus! Machine Gun Kelly, weirdo bowling animations, stealing food, and the greatest sports announcer moment in recent memory.
If you want to enjoy more great moments, please head on over to patreon.com/blockedparty to support the show AND receive THREE bonus episodes every single month. Sarah Pappalardo (Reductress) joins the show to tell us about where they do most of their trolling: Facebook. And on that Facebook? A former friend who took a wild turn during COVID and who ends up blocking and unblocking Sarah to continue name-calling. The rest of the episode is much less feisty though, as we talk about being a cat parent, the weirdo "you should own a house by now" tweets, insane hockey names, Jeff Foxworthy, microwaves, and Sarah reveals the insane podcast they'd like to start with their mom.
If you want more of THIS insane podcast, you can head on over to patreon.com/blockedparty, where $5/month gets you access to THREE bonus episodes every single month, including this week, a very special hangout episode as we get together with Tom Walker and Demi Lardner. Paul Bae (The Big Loop, Black Tapes) returns to the show to a surprise when Producer Dan informs him that he has actually BLOCKED Dan on Twitter! It's the first time we've ever had the Blocker and the Blockee meet face-to-face, and it turns out Dan found himself on a blocklist. Paul runs us through why he used a blocklist in the first place, and you'll have to tune in to see if Paul shows ultimate character and unblocks Dan live on the show. Elsewhere, we revisit our past episode hijinks with Paul, as John gives Paul an update on his ass, and Stefan rejigs his previous top 3, where he said he would most want tomato paste if he were trapped after an earthquake. We also talk about more disaster foods, John potentially having COVID, Friday's livestream, screenwriting Twitter, and LL Cool J.
If you want to be as cool as Mr. LL, you can become a donor to the show at patreon.com/blockedparty, where $5/month gets you access to THREE bonus episodes every single month. The boys are back in town, and this time that's quite literal, as Derek and dril are in Vancouver to join the Blocked Boys live in BPHQ. And this episode is about what you'd expect from this foursome, as an innocent conversation about hotpot turns to Rule 34, where we learn it has a comments section (bad) and what the top 10 searches on the site are (worse). After a lengthy discussion, we move onto monkey movies, Eminem lyrics, saline injections, reply guys, and dril gets blocked by Dog the Bounty Hunter for saying he would like to breastfeed him.
If you want to get fed more of this sweet content, head on over to patreon.com/blockedparty, where $5/month gets you THREE bonus episodes every single month. This week, Lauren L. Walker returns to the show for a Canadian Education Programme episode, and this FRIDAY, John and Stefan are gonna be streaming for 6 hours straight in the first-ever Blocked Slumber Party for WAVAW. We're gonna be playing some fun games and hanging out with some fun friends, raising money for a great cause and holding a raffle where the grand prize is getting to GUEST ON THIS SHOW! Cool.
Derek and dril can be followed on Twitter, and look out for their new show on NBC, coming in 18 years.

Maddy Kelly (comedian/writer) returns to the show with another very special reply guy, one who stoops to finding her email address to be unnecessarily critical and then extremely weird very, very quickly. It's a fun episode of the show that starts out sweet as Stefan tries to convince Maddy to play Elden Ring and we talk about creating a vision board for BP and vegetable gardens. It also gets literally sweet as we discuss the Dutch Bros insane drink menu. But, somewhat predictably given what has happened the 171 episodes before this, things manage to turn nasty as Stefan's social media update gets us talking about sex talks with our parents and Maddy reveals she has some very special skills. Plus, we weigh in on the wheels vs. doors debate and it gets very heated.
If you want to get more heated, you can head on over to patreon.com/blockedparty, where $5/month gets you access to THREE bonus episodes every single month. This week, Drew from Globe Hell joins us for a beautiful mailbag episode, and later this month, we are going live again in support of WAVAW with the Blocked Slumber Party, as Stefan and John are gonna stream for 6 straight hours on Friday, March 18th. It all starts at 6 pm PST and you won't wanna miss it!

Sweeps Month comes to a rousing conclusion as Jamie Loftus (comedian/writer) returns to become best friends with Tony Hawk (just as we are) by being blocked by none other than the Olympics themselves. Jamie actually tracks down the IOC headquarters in Switzerland to try and get her Twitter account back in a valiant Block Tale and Stefan gets thrown back to his mock draft-ruining days with the listener Block Tale. After the longest intro ever, Jamie tells us about why she had to miss Trivia Party last week: because she was attending Ghost Church. We learn all about channelling spirits as Stefan and John decide to get into the slime business, and Jamie learns about the two ghosts that follow her around constantly. Plus, we wonder about the existence of a beach plum, Jamie wants a Nicole Kidman AMC ad supercut, and Stefan and John have weirdly symbiotic tweets about Elden Ring.
If you want to feel more in symbiosis with the pod, head on over to patreon.com/blockedparty, where $5/month gets you access to THREE bonus episodes every single month. Last week was a big one, as we released a Canadian Education episode on Matt Good with former fun. lead singer Nate Ruess, and the aforementioned Trivia Party makes its triumphant return with Branson Reese joining us. We've got lots of great stuff planned for March, plus merch discounts, an exclusive Discord, and more!

It took 170 episodes, but Michael Hale (Your Kickstarter Sucks) finally joins us for a main episode and...let's be honest. If you're a fan of this show, or YKS, or hopefully both, you know exactly what you're getting here. It's John's worst nightmare as Stefan and DB run roughshod all over this thing, introducing John to a host of online freaks and scoundrels. But it's a blast, as we take a look at past guest Jon Hendren's surprisingly robust scoring system for these weird reply guys, Stefan remembers a classic online moment, and one of the freaks fulfills a special request. We do get into some "normal" (?) stuff too I guess, as Mike gets blocked by one of the guys from Bowling for Soup for saying he died in a Murphy bed (you know, normal stuff), Stefan finds an insane movie trailer, and we discover the joy of Quebeçois Boomhauer.
If you want to discover more joy, you can head on over to patreon.com/blockedparty, where $5/month gets you access to THREE bonus episodes every single month, including a special double dose of bonus goodness coming this week, as Nate Ruess joins us for a Canadian Education episode on alternative rock weirdo Matt Good, and Branson Reese takes part in Trivia Party with our venerable quizmaster, Meg Walls. Plus we've got merch discounts, a great Discord, and more, so head on over to Patreon to support the beautiful Blocked Boys.

Chris Locke (comedian, Evil Men pod) is BACK and he's gotten some people upset with him online for having takes against the very stupid Freedom Convoy here in Canada or whatever dumb thing they're calling it now. Luckily we don't have much other dumb stuff on the show, outside of the usual dumb stuff like getting Chris to look at questionable things and him rebranding as a guy who will refuse to wipe until further notice. We also talk the Puppy Bowl, Ghostbusters, 2-man luge, the viral nu-metal tweet, and Jonathan Allen's insane dream dinner guests.
If you want to feel like you're our guest for dinner, head on over to patreon.com/blockedparty, where $5/month gets you access to THREE bonus episodes every single month. It's Sweeps Month, baby! This year, it's all fan favourites all month and we start by bringing back one of our faves who hasn't appeared on a full main episode in over two years, Cait Raft! Fresh off of their star turn as "Jonathan Van Mouse" on the new Jonathan Van Ness show, we talk about cartoon mice as Stefan and Cait ponder whether or not houses in the 40s actually built holes in the wall and doors for mice. The rest of the episode is not that stupid (but it gets close) as we discuss The Simpsons, VIP movie theatres, weird influencer posts, strawberry candies, Family Feud, and Cait brings the heat in another wild top 3.
If you want even more wild content that's sweeter than strawberry candy, head on over to patreon.com/blockedparty, where $5/month gets you access to THREE bonus episodes every month. This week, it's a BP Mailbag and then the rest of the month gets wild as we bring back Trivia Party, Nate Ruess rejoins the show, and our first-ever "Sexy Six" bonus episode gets launched for our $8 and above patrons, where we read and analyze your secrets. It's truly the best month to get on board as a patron and you won't want to miss any of it!
Cait Raft is a story producer and comedian who can currently be heard on "Getting Curious" with Jonathan Van Ness as Jonathan Van Mouse and other assorted voiceover roles. You can follow them on Twitter and Instagram at @caitraft.

Michael Balazo (Evil Men Podcast) joins the show for his first main episode, and he gets blocked by an entire newspaper! Apparently the tabloid-style papers in Toronto don't take too kindly to their front pages having jokes made about them. But there are plenty of jokes in this episode that we DO take kindly to, as we discuss our preferred first names, bananas, gnomes, the University of Texas pee chart, sexy sculptures, and Michael tells us about a town in Ontario with a very strange name while Stefan considers converting to Christianity.
If you want to convert to Blocked Party-anity, you can head on over to patreon.com/blockedparty, where $5/month gets you access to THREE bonus episodes every single month. Last week, we did a double dose of bonus as we released a Canadian Education episode with Claire McNear where we discussed Canada's Smartest Person (the show, not the, uhh, person) and the VOD from our live Cameo episode with Josh Gondelman is available now as well! Plus, it's just about February, so you know what that means: SWEEPS MONTH! It'll be some fantastic times with us next month you won't want to miss, including the FIRST "Sexy Six" bonus episode for our $8 and $100 Club patrons. Check it all out at patreon.com/blockedparty.

Becca makes her triumphant return to the show and tells us the story of how her ex's wild ex made Becca's life very weird for a little while, from weird social media comments to parking in her building's parking lot and staring into their window. The Blocked Boys don't stop getting weird there, as we go very deep into the rabbit hole of "American Pie Presents" movies as John finds a bunch of odd iMDB reviews and Becca gives her thoughts on the slew of 00s teen sex comedies she's been watching over the course of the pandemic. Plus, Stefan and Becca work on some impressions as we discuss The Witcher 3, fart underwear, Weber Grills' awkward email, gym class, and Stefan adopts a cat for 3 hours.
If you want to adopt some more hours of Blocked Party content, you can do so by heading over to patreon.com/blockedparty, where $5/month gets you access to THREE bonus episodes every single month. This week, it's a double dose as the VOD of our live Cameo show with Josh Gondelman will go up as we look back on our years screwing around on Cameo, and Claire McNear returns to the show to get Canadian Educated on Canada's Smartest Person. Plus, Sweeps Month is just around the bend AND the Blocked Boys will be debuting the first bonus BONUS episode next month for the $8 and $100 Club donors. Get into it!

Jordan Foisy (comedian) takes the show to real life, as he remembers a time an ignorant customer at his serving job forces his weaselly manager to take action in the best way possible. But before we get there, the show skews very Canadian as an inspired "Start the Party, Dan!" leads into some discussion of Canadian music and our favourite Canadian weirdos, Frank D'Angelo and Ed the Sock. And it doesn't stop there, as we introduce Dart Guy to the Blocked Party universe, and then Stefan gets inspired to show us some pretty gross photos. Plus, we get into Brittlestar, Joe Rogan, Novak Djokovic, and our most inconsequential celebrity sightings.
If you want some more of these two inconsequential celebrities (by that I mean Stefan and John), head on over to patreon.com/blockedparty, where $5/month gets you access to THREE bonus episodes every single month. This week, we've got a mailbag with Josiah Hughes coming out, and it's our first Zoom Live show of 2022, as Alex Goldman from Reply All joins us to dissect a bunch of weird Cameos. That's this Friday, January 21st at 10 pm EST/7 pm PST, and you can donate at any level to get in. You won't wanna miss it!

Johnny Pemberton (comedian/actor) joins the show to talk about blocking someone for going a little bit too far in questioning the COVID safety protocols on the set of Superstore, and reveals his unique strategy (other than muting/blocking) for dealing with people who are mean to him online. Elsewhere on the show, Johnny growing up in Minnesota finds the boys talking cross-border commonalities as we get into French education, Tim Hortons, and Kevin O'Leary, while also chopping it up about Alvin & The Chipmunks. Plus! Johnny decides to be a seagull on Twitter, John plays a very memorable John Madden clip, and Stefan introduces the guys to a new edition of "Real or Fake" featuring that weird balloon guy.
If you want something that's definitely real, head on over to patreon.com/blockedparty, where $5/month gets you access to THREE bonus episodes every single month, including last week's episode where we imagine a 10-year BP reunion episode 15 years into the future, an episode that is easily the dumbest thing we've ever done. We also have all new Patreon tiers for you to check out, a Zoom Live show later this month, and more, so give it a peek and donate today!

Caitlin Durante (Bechdel Cast) joins us to demonstrate just how you can get blocked by your high school, over a decade after graduating from it. Hint: it involves the school mascot. There's nothing cartoony or mascot-like about the rest of the episode though, as we dive very deep into Lego for Adults as Caitlin tells us the story of building the 9000-piece replica Titanic and tries to decide exactly what to do with it now that it's finished. Meanwhile, Stefan bought himself and his partner a model kit for Christmas, but it turns out to be a lot more than he bargained for. Plus, we get into our low-key New Years Eve celebrations, Richard Karn has an NFT, Chris James pulls his best prank ever, and Caitlin tells us about her favourite brand of joke tweet.
If you want to hear many, many more joke tweets (and about jokes, and tweets), head on over to patreon.com/blockedparty, where $5/month gets you access to THREE bonus episodes every month. We just recorded the final episode of Paranoia, the RPG series we've done with Carlos Maza, Carla Mah, Racquel Belmonte, and Josh Buergel, and it is predictable chaos. Plus, we've got brand-new Patreon tiers including a totally revamped $100 Club which will get you access to a super-secret Discord channel AND a Cameo from Stefan and John!

In the third instalment of what has become an annual tradition and a fan favourite episode, John and Stefan run down who they're targeting in the year 2022 as their mortal enemies. This could be a concept--in the past, Stefan has targeted the Bristol Stool Chart, for example--a person, an object, or really anything that has caught the ire of either Blocked Boy. But first, we run through our 2021 Enemies List to be sure that we got 'em correct over the past 365 days, and we recap our Christmases as Stefan reveals a controversial candy opinion and John manages to wade through a holiday full of family non-COVID illnesses to make Christmas happen. And in typical Blocked Party fashion, we also manage to find a way to talk about Rule 34, and this time, it's about the Brave Little Toaster.
If you want to be extra brave, as a special ending to the episode, we introduce the brand-new Patreon tiers for 2022, including an enhanced "$100 Club" yearly subscription, where you can get a personalized, Cameo-style shoutout from Stefan and John, access to a super-secret $100 Club Discord channel, ad-free episodes, and more. Plus, we introduce the "Sexy Six", a new set of six bonus episodes a year that are only available at the $8 tier and above. And if none of that sounds good, there's also lots of other stuff and other tiers for all your BP Patreon needs, all launching January 1. It's gonna be a great year and we're thrilled to keep bringing you the best bonus content in the game over at patreon.com/blockedparty.

Libby Watson (writer) is back for a comfy mid-December episode that sees John power through the haze of potential COVID illness for a memorable episode, as Libby gets blocked by Silicon Valley weirdo and Defector Media's "interested investor" Jason Calacanis. Of course, given Stefan and Libby's love for their cats, there's a lot of Kiki and Digby talk, and John remembers his first long-time exposure to a cat, his ex's fat cat named Sushi. Plus, we get into bagels, nu-metal covers, coffee, the Salton Sea, Thom Hartmann's smackdown of an anti-vaxxer, and Stefan gives us a wild update on a subject of a past Block Tale, Jamie Sweaty.
If you want to be kept in the know on all of our wild updates, head on over to patreon.com/blockedparty, where $5/month gets you access to THREE bonus episodes every single month. This week, Stefan FINALLY discusses his block at the hands of Jon Taffer, as we're joined by fan fave Dan O'Sullivan for a Hell Block, and our playing of the RPG Paranoia ends this month as well, with a final episode you won't wanna miss. And that's not all! Ad-free episodes, a great Discord, and more surprises await, so check it out today.

Dino Archie (comedian) gets physically blocked from The Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas for, and I quote, "doing too much". It's a self-admitted, well- deserved block, and the lifetime ban leaves Dino wondering just how heavily they'll enforce that if he ever decides to go back. The whole episode has a "kicked out of a hotel" vibe as Dino's disdain for John's show primer email leads into a discussion about international phone lines, card collections, the Vancouver Canucks riots, and the city of Montreal. Plus we check in on the Nancy Reagan Twitter discussion this week, Jim Breuer's viral standup clip, and Stefan's parents make a warped Christmas decoration.
If you want more warped content, head on over to patreon.com/blockedparty, where $5/month gets you access to THREE bonus episodes every single month. This week, we'll have a mailbag out with past guest Savannah Erasmus, and our conclusion to the Paranoia series comes later this month as well, which is gonna be fantastic. Plus we've got a great Discord, merch and live show discounts, and ad-free episodes, so check it out!

Chalk another one up for the bad guy, as Lucy Valentine (Boonta Vista) gets blocked by the creator of Dilbert for making fun of his precious cartoons. It's a famous "night-time" episode of the show, as John is away for the weekend and thus, the boys are forced to record late on a weeknight after Stefan streams. Thankfully, it's the afternoon for Lucy and she balances out our energy as we talk the Quebec referendum, TimBiebs, a weird solicitation email from a potential sponsor, and Stefan introduces John and Lucy to the Balldo. Plus, we get into what Mormon couples mean when they say "D-Day", old WarioWare ads, David Draiman, and John "kidnaps" Kiki for ransom.
If you are also happy there's no more Joey for a year, you can show your love by donating to the show at patreon.com/blockedparty, where $5/month gets you access to THREE bonus episodes every single month. This month, it's the FINALE of Paranoia as we see if our crew can finally complete the impossible mission in Alpha Complex, and we've got another great Canadian Education episode on the way. Plus we've got live episodes, a great Discord, and access to the ad-free feed, so check it out today!

One of our most requested guests, Dave Weigel (Washington Post) is finally able to make an appearance on our show after getting the approval from the higher-ups, and it does not disappoint. Despite writing about politics and all the blocks that come with that, we dig into one of Dave's weirder blocks: Amy Schumer, who blocked him for saying Trainwreck wasn't all that good. The episode is very good though, as we obviously talk politics with Dave, like gerrymandering and the Tea Party and other important political things like the GTA remasters, Letterboxd, Bone Bone, and competitive video gaming. We also have a brief POD Kast crossover as Dave gets excited over John mentioning 311 and John introduces Dave and Stefan to the concept of a "brodel".
If you want to brodel down with us, you can donate to the show at patreon.com/blockedparty, where $5/month gets you access to THREE bonus episodes every month. This past week, we released our third episode of Paranoia, the dystopian RPG, and it's our most unhinged and funny one yet. We're joined by Carlos Maza, Carla Mah, and Racquel Belmonte for what is a crazy time every time out, and this one is no exception. We also just posted the VOD of our live Family Feud episode with Jesse and Mike from YKS and former Jeopardy! champs Seth Wilson and Alex Schmidt, available at any donor level. PLUS! We have ad-free episodes and a Discord and it's all great, so check it out.

Matt Wright (comedian) joins us for a landmark recording, as it's the earliest recording we have ever done! With Stefan out of town next weekend, the Blocked Boys were forced to record at 9 am, with some predictably delirious results. Matt gets blocked by an "Open Mic Cabaret" after a joke about cheap wine, and that sits couched in some great discussion about Home Improvement, the Deftones, Succession, and puking courtside. Plus, Stefan is very concerned about the future of internet files after failing to understand a .webp, an NBA trading cards streamer opens a coach's card, Matt tells us about growing up a Pokémon card fan, and John recaps Friday night's eventful Family Feud live episode.
Speaking of that live episode, it will be available this week on patreon.com/blockedparty, where $5/month gets you access to THREE bonus episodes every single month (plus a live show every other month! Wow!). This week, we have the Family Feud VOD PLUS our third instalment of Paranoia comes out, as the gaming group featuring us alongside Carlos Maza, Carla Mah, and Racquel Belmonte try to finally track down their "impossible" mission. Plus we have ad-free episodes, a Discord, and lots of other fun stuff over there, so check it out!

Justine Stafford (comedian) joins the show as our first-ever Irish guest and teaches us that no matter what side of the Atlantic you're on, there will still be weird feet guys in your DMs! She gets the episode started off with a weird request and the energy only goes on from there as we go into dairy farming, small-town Ireland, Irish candy, partying a little TOO hard, video game character crushes, and we dissect the crazy Brass Against piss video from the weekend. Plus, Justine makes a TikTok about Gordon Ramsay, Stefan talks the new Ghostbusters, and we review Conor McGregor's not-at-all-influenced-by-cocaine tweets about India.
If you aren't afraid of no ghost, head on over to patreon.com/blockedparty, where $5/month gets you access to THREE bonus episodes every single month. Last week, Jamie Loftus joined us to learn about a Canadian holiday special and this week, Ivan Decker makes his return to the show for a wonderful mailbag. AND if you're a donor at any level to the show, you get access to THIS FRIDAY'S very special live show, as John and Stefan go head-to-head in Family Feud, with host Mack Gordon trying to keep things civil as Stefan teams up with the YKS boys to take on John and his team of Jeopardy! champs. It's gonna be a doozy and it gets started at 10 pm EST/7 pm PST so don't miss it!

John Semley (writer) joins us to throw another Steven Crowder block onto the scrap heap as we wax nostalgic for childhood candy, lunch items, and crushes. John also enjoys having a fellow John on the show and we get into getting mistaken for Jons and Jonathans and John Semley tells about his brief foray into being a Jack. Plus, Stefan digs into the Starbucks holiday drink menu, as John Semley goes antiquing and John Cullen learns a new fact about Stephen Baldwin.
If you want to learn some new facts, you can head on over to patreon.com/blockedparty, where $5/month gets you access to THREE bonus episodes every single month. This week, we introduce our good friend and now 8-time guest Jamie Loftus to a Canadian cartoon in our continuing series, and coming up on November 19th, we return to live Zoom shows as Stefan and John battle it out in a game of Mack Gordon's Family Feud. Stefan's already announced his team will feature Jesse Farrar and Michael Hale from YKS, and John's promised his team announcement this week. It's gonna be a doozy and you gotta be a patron to attend. AND we got ad-free episodes and a sweet Discord, so check it out!

Rax King (writer) introduces us to the world of SantaCon, something that sounds joyous but is in actuality, very grim and bad. Her fateful day trip into NYC during SantaCon leads to a block as the dark side of the internet sees fit to get involved. The rest of the episode is pretty light though, as we celebrate John's birthday! Recorded the day of his 36th birthday, Stefan and Dan each get John thoughtful gifts after Stefan shoves Kleenex in his mouth (you'll hear why) and John and Rax swap stories of board game competitiveness. Plus we talk about our Halloween plans, how much groceries cost, the early 2000s, group chats, and John and Stefan swap places in our Social Media Updates, as Stefan reports a wholesome story and John finds a former athlete with a deranged opinion about a teammate's injury.
If you're looking for more deranged opinions, head on over to patreon.com/blockedparty, where $5/month gets you access to THREE bonuses every month. We just had a double bonus week last week as Charles Star joined us for a Curling Twitter block and Nick Nemeroff came along for the ride in a Blocked Mailbag episode. Plus we announce that coming up on November 19th, Zoom shows return as Stefan and John go head-to-head playing Mack Gordon's Family Feud! It's gonna be a blast so head on over to Patreon to check it out!

Amy Goodmurphy (comedian/actor) gets fooled by the Blocked Boys into thinking they're wholesome, as the episode starts with some very pleasant conversation about acting in commercials, chocolates, and Christmas. But it quickly devolves as Amy herself takes it off the deep end with a story about some illicit messages her friend received and we get into our most drunken moments, New Zealand's official wizard, and Panamanian television. Plus, Amy's Block Tale does not disappoint, as a person sees an ad with her in it on Instagram and immediately takes things to a bad place.
If you want to go to a good place, head on over to patreon.com/blockedparty, where $5/month gets you access to THREE bonus episodes every single month. This is a double bonus episode week so there's no better time to get on board as we invite listener fave Nick Nemeroff back to answer some mailbag questions and John dips into his first ever Curling Twitter block with our pal Charles Star. Plus we've got ad-free episodes, a sweet Discord, merch deals and more, so check it out!

Jesse Farrar (Your Kickstarter Sucks) returns to the show fresh off of doing a Go Off Kings stream with Stefan and that vibe permeates throughout the show as it starts chaotic and keeps that feel all the way through to the end. Jesse finds a block from the lady who did that very weird calf cramp tweet and John lets Jesse and Stefan try their hands at a voiceover audition he didn't get. Elsewhere, the Blocked Boys try to decide what constitutes a "non-scary Halloween movie" after Jesse gets perplexed by some of Freeform's programming decisions as we talk Madden, Steam nicknames, and Blocked Party finally gets the shine they deserve in a community newspaper.
If you want some more of that Blocked Party shine, head on over to patreon.com/blockedparty, where $5/month gets you access to THREE bonus episodes every month, including the continuation of our Paranoia series AND the return of Blocked Party live shows next month. Lots of great things coming very soon that you won't wanna miss. Plus: ad-free episodes! Discord link! Other stuff!

Aiden Arata (writer, content creator) joins us to discuss a time that a combination birthday party went awry as one guest in particular got very possessive over the leftovers. The rest of the episode is all content that's never been reheated though, as the Blocked Boys get into Lindsay Lohan's beach club, sparkling water, movie novelizations, MLB's "Turn Ahead the Clock" jerseys, and it's episode 151, so we talk drinkin', baby!!! Plus, we dive into Soup Girl Fall, disguising edibles as Halloween candy to give them to kids, and Glassdoor reviews of the United States Army.
If you want content that is definitely not for kids (and we'll never disguise THAT), you can head on over to patreon.com/blockedparty where $5/month gets you access to THREE bonus episodes every single month. We just did a great Canadian Education episode with Kofie Yeboah about the Canadian Football League that's up now, and we've got more Paranoia and other fun stuff coming down the pipe so be sure to check it out. And if you hate the ads, we have ad-free content too!

Tony Hawk (legend) joins the show to fulfill John's dream and to talk about the time that the International Olympic Committee booted him off the Park Course and then the time right after that when he got home from Tokyo and got blocked by NBC for doing his own commentary on their content. Before all that, we reminisce about how Tony's appearance on the show came to be, through a Cameo from a listener and we learn the insane number of Cameos Tony has done. Elsewhere, Stefan and John ask Tony for advice on being cool which leads to John committing how to learn to hardflip. Plus, we chat curling, burgers, karaoke, Tony Hawk's Pro Skater, exit surveys, and Tony tells us about retiring tricks and making skate decks with his blood.
If you want to commit a sort of online blood oath with us, you can donate to the show at patreon.com/blockedparty, where $5/month gets you access to THREE bonus episodes every month. This week, we've got Kofie Yeboah returning to the show as we teach him (and ourselves, really) about the Canadian Football League and it's a good one. Plus we have our Paranoia series ongoing and if you hate the ads, we have some new ad-free tiers for you check out. And! Zoom shows return in November. So give it a peek!

Our good friend The Zubes (Wrestling Brain, Sportsfeld) joins the show to talk about being blocked by a former Major League Baseball player, who he then works with in sports media and gets unblocked by, who he then finds out is dating a very terrible person and wishes he was still blocked. It's a whole range of emotions this week on BP and we are here for all of it as the Blocked Boys also dive into nicknames, fantasy hockey, Dhar Mann's bizarre Instagram page, Elizabeth Holmes' courtroom text message reveal, Jordan Clarkson, stinging insults, and Stefan dresses up as Spider-Man.
One thing you could get dressed up for is our Patreon page over at patreon.com/blockedparty, where $5/month gets you access to THREE bonus episodes every single month. Last week, we released the second Paranoia episode as our gang of RPG characters faces even more issues just trying to get our impossible mission started, and this week, it's an emergency Blocked Bag with Producer Dan after a guest is forced to cancel suddenly and it's a whole lot of fun. Plus we got an exclusive Discord, ad-free episodes, and more!

Juliana Rodrigues (comedian) joins the show to discuss how an older guy who works at a comedy venue has an extremely strange Instagram account that only shows his workplace injuries and bad pictures of his food, leading Juliana to block him. Of course, Stefan loves it. With John and Stefan just returned from their fantasy hockey boys' trip, they give all the goods on Stefan having a tough Thursday night and we learn an awful lot about everyone's puking habits. But don't worry, before long we settle in to some more "normal" conversation about eating 6 Junior Chickens in one sitting, webcams, cats, getting in an argument in the Instagram comments, and buying clothes at the airport.
If you want to save your airport clothes money and spend it on something much more fun, you can donate to the show at patreon.com/blockedparty, where $5/month gets you access to THREE juicy bonus episodes every single month. This week, it's Paranoia 2 as our ragtag crew goes shopping for gear before heading out on our impossible mission. Clare Belford (comedian) returns to the show and she's got a new view on life where she doesn't want to hear about your weight loss program, your diet, your latest fad, or just your weight in general. And she's got a block for that! We discuss how COVID has distorted everyone's view of their own bodies and it gets a bit real but it gets very nice too, which we love. And of course, we go over a bunch of not nice stuff as per usual, as we get into living in Eastern Canada, haircuts, curling fights, weird drink combinations, Pepito the Cat, and John and Stefan pull out the measuring tape to see who has the bigger head.
If you want to prove you have a big head and even bigger brains, you can donate to the show at patreon.com/blockedparty, where $5/month gets you access to THREE bonus episodes every single month. Last week, we put out a Hell Block with Brett Payne where Stefan talked about being blocked by John Pavlovitz, and coming soon is the second chapter of our Paranoia saga, where we play the well-known RPG with Carlos Maza, Carla Mah, and Racquel Belmonte, which you won't wanna miss. Plus, we've got a great Discord, an ad-free version of the pod, and more! So check it out.

Nathan Hare (comedian) joins the show to tell us of the time that an innocent joke about Subway went sideways and he got blocked by one of the world's largest fast food chains. Most things on this episode go sideways as a discussion about fancy juice leads to speculation on what would have to happen for us to wear a diaper, which of course leads to bedwetting incidents we had as kids...and adults. We also talk Hulk Hogan's celebrity wrestling reality show, elementary school principals, newspaper corrections, the Chris Jericho Cruise, and our least favourite songs.
If you want to cruise with us, you can head on over to patreon.com/blockedparty, where $5/month gets you access to THREE bonus episodes every single month. This week, we've got another Hell Block coming up with Brett Payne from Street Fight Radio, and of course our continuation of the Paranoia series will continue later this month as well. Producer Dan (producer) joins us as a guest for the first time on a main episode as the Blocked Boys go on vacation to the Heck Family Cabin. We record outside so you can enjoy the sounds of nature in the background as we talk about our usual BS and sully the entire experience. Dan gets blocked by a pro wrestler as we get into the BC Ferries, comparing our feet, Apple TV's depiction of Androids, whether or not relaxing video games should be speedrun, and we "remember some guys" Pop Star Edition, as we talk JoJo and Right Said Fred. Plus, a listener meets a Nazi weirdo on Grindr.
If you want to hang out with some weirdos, you can head on over to patreon.com/blockedparty, where $5/month gets you access to THREE bonus episodes every single month. Raina Douris (NPR's World Cafe) joins the show to hearken back to her old days as a Toronto resident, as she tangles with one of the resident dirt-kickers over at Toronto's worst newspaper, the Sun. We also manage to get into chatter about one of our favourite Canadians, Frank D'Angelo, before moving on to talk The Grateful Dead, anti-vaxxers, protesting, getting punched, and hippies. Plus, we find out that Raina is on Wikifeet, John updates us on the Milk Crate Challenge, and Stefan introduces us to a detestable Republican candidate.
If you want to complete a challenge, you can head on over to patreon.com/blockedparty and complete the "donate to your one of your favourite podcasts" challenge. It's easy to do and gets you access to THREE bonus episodes every single month. This week, we have the first instalment of our quest to conquer the world of Paranoia, the RPG where ourselves and Carlos Maza, Carla Mah, and Racquel Belmonte come together to try to complete an impossible mission. Or something. It's a blast. Plus, we've got another parental mailbag on the way with the Hecks and more, so check it out!

Rory Dunn (comedian) joins us to bear gifts of cheesecake and to share the story of how an 8-second video got him instantly blocked by one of Twitter's worst ghouls. Speaking of ghouls, we go on an extended tour of the biblical summer camps we all attended as kids, from Rory's stories of canoeing the lakes of Saskatchewan to John and Stefan's experiences with banana boating. Plus, we talk about the worst places we've ever fallen asleep, The Simpsons, history TikTok, Becca's week away, one-hit wonders, and John gains some allies--some BP listeners and the Canadian Conservative Party.
If you want to become our greatest allies, you can join the fine folks over at patreon.com/blockedparty, where a $5/month donation to our show gets you access to all of our great bonus content. Last week, we educated Melissa Stetten on the 90s coming-of-age show "Ready or Not", and coming next week: BPD&D2! It's gonna be a doozy. Plus, you get access to our entire back catalogue and our super-sweet, super-exclusive Discord. It's the best deal in podcasting!
Rory Dunn is a comedian and baker and you can find him on Twitter, Instagram, and TikTok at @TheTrueRory. You can watch livestreams of him baking at twitch.tv/thetruerory.

Ryan Williams (comedian, writer) returns to the show to take on Canada's Rebel Media, our pathetic answer to the American alt-right community, and he goes straight to the top, catching a block from its founder, Ezra Levant. Elsewhere, John is home alone this week as Becca visits her family, and we talk about how he started it by watching a documentary about the making of Forrest Gump and taking a nap. Luckily Ryan picks up the slack for John's boring Sunday by telling one of the craziest stories we've ever heard on the show, and then follows that up (after doing his own segue) by telling the second craziest story we've ever heard on the show. The Blocked Boys try to keep up, as we get into "sex arses", construction sites, getting vaccinated, and John finds one of the more cursed poems we've ever read.
If you'd like some less cursed content, you can head on over to patreon.com/blockedparty, where $5/month gets you access to THREE bonus episodes every single month. This week, we're bringing our friend Melissa Stetten on for another CanCon episode as we watch a couple episodes of the girls' coming-of-age dramedy "Ready or Not" and it gets a bit wild. Plus, BPD&D2 launches this month and you won't wanna miss it!
Ryan Williams is a stand-up comedian whose podcast, the ThunderBronco Sports podcast, will be launching in September. You can follow him for details on that and everything else he's up to on Twitter and Instagram at @Ryannornot.

Alison Rosen (podcaster, writer) joins us to warn of the dangers about posting a photo on Instagram of a recent manicure, lest people think you're too much of a narcissist. In fairness, we do manage to talk a fair amount about ourselves on the podcast, as John is forced to talk about his curling history off the top and it devolves into a long conversation about seltzer and pop consumption. We also get into laser hair removal, arguing with anti-vaxxers on Twitter, one of the craziest CNN interviews of all-time, and John discovers the all-time best name of an Olympian from the world of field hockey.
If you want to discover some all-time best things, you can head on over to patreon.com/blockedparty, where $5/month gets you access to THREE bonus episodes a month AND our entire back catalogue, which is filled with greatness. It's a tremendous deal and we have a big August ahead with our first episode of BPD&D2, as we're going to be playing the RPG "Paranoia" with Carlos Maza, Carla Mah, and Racquel Belmonte. It'll be going for 4 months and will be a blast. Plus lots of other great stuff is on the way, plus we have newsletters, a great Discord, and MORE! So check it out.
Alison Rosen hosts two podcasts, "Alison Rosen is Your New Best Friend" and "Childish", both available wherever you get your pods. Her book, "Tropical Attire Encouraged (and Other Phrases That Scare Me)" is also out now, and she can be followed on Twitter and Instagram at @AlisonRosen.

Taylor Lorenz (New York Times) returns to the show to explain her confusion over how she got blocked and unblocked and blocked again by Logan Paul, and in the process of telling the tale, figures out how it might've happened. We figure out a lot of things on this episode, like the fact that Taylor is a bird person, John has a different definition than most of what a "drinking boot" is, and Stefan is going to buy a cat backpack for Kiki. Plus!! We talk about the new gamer chairs we got for BPHQ, late 90's fashion, Kevin Sorbo, vegan food, and Nyjah Huston's ass.
If you don't want to show your ass, you should donate to the show at patreon.com/blockedparty, where $5/month gets you access to THREE bonus episodes every single month. We just posted a great mailbag episode with John's dad last week, and coming this week is the return of our all-Cameo bonus episode, Word Up!, with returning guest and one of our faves, Brandon Ash Mohammed.
Taylor Lorenz is a technology reporter for the New York Times, and you can find her on Twitter and Instagram at @TaylorLorenz.

If you're thinking you can't trust a man named Ashley, our guest this week, Danika Thibault (comedian), is here to prove you right, as she tells a tale about a chance encounter leading to a very weird online interaction and subsequent blocking by...a man named Ashley. Speaking of weird online interactions, Stefan doubles down on his Marge impression from the Go Off Kings this week, and shows at least a little improvement. Plus we get into Canadian chocolate bars, Donald Trump, Stefan's MLB: The Show character, A24 films, Sisqo's beautiful reasoning behind the Thong Song, and Danika gives John and Stefan a literal glow up as we learn about the Glow filter on TikTok.
If you want a glow up but in podcasting form, you can get it over at patreon.com/blockedparty, where $5/month gets you access to THREE bonus episodes every month. This week, we have a very special guest for our monthly mailbag episode: John's Dad! John Cullen Sr. joins the program to answer all manner of questions from our listeners, and it gets as wild as you'd expect. Plus right now we have the great bonus episode we did last week with the guys from the Evil Men podcast, and BPD&D 2: Paranoia starts next month. You won't wanna miss it!
Danika Thibault is a comedian and podcaster whose podcast, Forgive Us, can be found wherever you get your pods. You can follow her on Twitter at @Danika_Thibault and on Instagram at @DanikaThibault.

It's a long-awaited episode as our old friend Tom (ChapoFYM) joins us after the worst intro in show history to tell us a great Block Tale as he revisits the "horny Twitter" we got into with the Globe Hell guys and folks...this time, it might be worse. As we've mentioned before, we've known Tom since the Real Good Show days and so we spend some time reminiscing about the RGS Hot-Off and the Akron Pooper amidst talk of the infamous Calgary Stampede threesome and M. Night Shyamalan's weird new movie where people get old on a beach. We also learn an awful lot about latex mask-wearing guys, Jesse getting killed by a deer in a hunting video game, and we speculate on whether or not our parents would like I Think You Should Leave.
One thing our parents do like for sure is our wonderful bonus content over at patreon.com/blockedparty, where $5/month gets you access to THREE bonus episodes every month. We just finished recording a wonderful bonus episode with the guys from the Evil Men podcast, Chris Locke, Michael Balazo, and James Hartnett and that'll be out this week, and this month's Blocked Bag has a very special guest you won't wanna miss.
Tom is a streamer who can be found often on Chapo Trap House's Twitch stream, ChapoFYM. You can hit them up at twitch.tv/chapotraphouse and you can follow Tom on Twitter at @tom_on_here.

K.C. Novak (comedian) makes her return to the show to talk about another romantic rejection, this time through a business she falls in love with over the pandemic. The Blocked Boys offer moral support as she walks us through the DMs and puts herself out there in a very sweet way. The rest of the show is also pretty darn sweet as we talk backyard games, Van Morrison's anti-lockdown album, and Kiki's near escape from Stefan's apartment. Plus, we get into K.C.'s reimagining of Seinfeld in the pandemic, Badlands becoming the first July 4th chugging champ, the Sha'Carri Richardson situation, and we revisit some of Frankie Muniz's best work (his tweets, obviously. Not that TV show or whatever.)
If you want to revisit some of our best work, you can head on over to patreon.com/blockedparty, where $5/month gets you access to THREE bonus episodes a month, plus our entire back catalogue, which contains over 75 full-length bonus episodes and lots of other fun stuff like video content and newsletters written by us. It's a blast!

Will Weldon (comedian, actor) joins the show for the third time but the first on a main episode, as we dig into his old "L.A. Meetings" bit on Twitter and find out how it led to getting blocked by a prominent screenwriter. Elsewhere on the show it's a preview of the Blocked Boys' weekend as we discuss the Vancouver "Heat Dome" and our plans to deal with it, and a tease of our Canadian Education episode this month leads to a discussion about poutine and other Canadian nonsense. Plus, we talk about children's books, John McAfee, Mikey Miles, and John's recently finished library inventory experience.
If you want to access Blocked Party's entire inventory, you can do so at patreon.com/blockedparty, where $5/month gets you access to THREE bonus episodes every damn month. This week, we have our latest Canadian Education Programme for Foreign Podcasters episode coming out, where we invite our friend Derek on to eat poutine! It's a good one. Plus we have some specialty episodes coming up in the summer you won't wanna miss with some very special guests!
Will Weldon is a comedian and actor whose most recent film, "Too Late", is out now. You can follow him on Twitter at @oldmanweldon.

Sophie Ross (writer/podcaster) joins us to discuss a pretty big-time block from Kendall Jenner that involved getting quote-tweeted by Kim Kardashian and a whole lot of Twitter drama. It's a perfect fit for our show and so is Sophie, as we run down her post-COVID return to the New York City lifestyle, complete with a 3 am Taco Bell run. We also get into hockey and football which leads to a discussion of Sophie's crush on Bengals QB Joe Burrow, Stefan reads out a crazy wedding story, and John is unhappy with Stefan's Coke Freestyle machine choice.
One choice you won't be unhappy with is donating to the show at patreon.com/blockedparty, where $5/month gets you access to THREE bonus episodes every single month. This past week, we put up another mailbag with Randee Neumeyer that Stefan's mom described as a "total cumfest", so that was pretty fun, and we have the continuation of our Canadian Education Programme coming very soon. It's all there and you won't wanna miss anything!
Sophie Ross is a writer who can be found in various publications including Refinery29 and Betches. She guests on a podcast called "So Bad It's Good" every Monday and can be followed on Twitter at @SophRossss.

Nate Ruess (musician, fun.) joins the show to talk about a very weird series of tweets from the guy from Eve 6, who called out Nate's band and forced Nate to block him just because Nate was sick of people talking to him about it. Nate doesn't get sick of talking to us though, as we run through our old high school days after John talks about playing some fun. songs with his teacher band at a Christmas concert. We wonder what it would take to get statues built of us at our respective alma maters as Nate talks about growing up with pet horses, getting dumped in high school, and how contracting mono helped him graduate. Elsewhere in the episode, we watch Joey try the BTS meal, Nate explains how he found his true calling on Twitter, and we FINALLY, after almost a year of trying, get some art from Tony Posnanski.
Something that's much easier to get is a bunch of bonus content over at patreon.com/blockedparty, where $5/month gets you access to THREE bonus episodes every month. This week, we reopen the Blocked Bag and answer YOUR listener questions with past guest and comedian Randee Neumeyer, and we have lots of other great bonus content coming up you won't want to miss, including newsletters and the continuation of our Canadian Education Programme for Foreign Podcasters, where we teach non-Canadian guests about Canadian pop culture.
Nate Ruess is the lead singer of fun. and The Format as well as a solo artist, but he has nothing to plug and does not want you to follow him (but he can be found on Twitter at @nateruessmusic).

It's our first episode in 8 months where we have everyone including the guest in studio, and boy do we have a fun time with our wonderful guest Brandon Wardell (actor/comedian). To borrow a phrase from past guest David J. Roth, we "remember some guys", but instead of sports, it's the internet edition, as we dig into some people we remember from the early days of Twitter and YouTube. From there, Brandon reveals that he's spent his two months in Canada well, as he's learned a lot about one of our favourites, Frank D'Angelo, and tells us about the time he got blocked by Canadian icon Justin Bieber over a concert livetweet. Plus, we take a look at the end of Tito Ortiz's mayoral career, we discover an official Playboy version of the Sims, and Stefan puts a bow on the Naomi Wolf situation.
If you want something else to put a bow on, you can give us the gift of your donation at patreon.com/blockedparty, where $5/month gets you access to THREE bonus episodes every single month. We got this month off to a hot start with a new Trivia Party episode with our friends from What a Time to Be Alive and we've got a lot of great stuff coming very soon, so check it all out. Plus, we've got the $100 Club, which gets you a free BP T-Shirt, access to all of our bonus episodes, and access to all of our newsletters, of which there are FIVE every month. It's a great deal, so check it all out over there.
Brandon Wardell is a comedian, actor, and writer who hosts the podcast Yeah, But Still with Jack Wagner and can be followed on Twitter at @BrandonWardell.

Yasi Salek (podcaster, writer) joins the pod and lays down the law, as someone finally sides with John in the great "peen nut" incident and agrees the story is boring. There's a block in here too, as "scene queen" Audrey Kitching blocks Yasi and sends her down a YouTube rabbit hole as she remembers the block. Elsewhere, Yasi and John form a kinship over music podcast reply guys and we get into some Canadian stuff, talking Tim Hortons and "Green Dennis" along with the revelation that Yasi lost her virginity to a Juggalo.
If you want some more lessons from Blocked Party, you can head on over to patreon.com/blockedparty, where $5/month gets you access to a ton of bonus content including the VOD from our live show with Adam Christie on Cameo where he debuts a Cameo drinking game, and coming this week, it's the second half of our WATTBA bonus content as Eli Yudin and Patrick Monahan join Stefan and John for another episode of Trivia Party. It's all there and you won't wanna miss it!
Yasi Salek is a writer and podcaster whose podcast, Bandsplain, where she brings on guests to explain the cultish following of certain bands and musicians, is available now, exclusively on Spotify. She can also be followed on Twitter at @YasiSalek.
