Yusuf Nessary is the proud son of Afghan refugees that came to the U.S. in 1980. He attended Saint Mary’s College in California and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology and Biology. He then completed his Post-Baccalaureate in Pre-Medicine at Northwestern University in Chicago. Most recently, he received his Master’s Degree in Global Public Health with a concentration in African Studies. Almost 10 years ago, he founded his own NGO called Zam Zam Water, a 100% volunteer-based, non-profit organization which built water wells, schools for orphans, and farming systems around the world.

In 2017, Yusuf co-founded the Built With Bitcoin Foundation alongside Ray Youssef. To date, the foundation has built and repaired thirteen schools and education centers, seven solar projects, and over a dozen water and farming systems across the globe. The Foundation and its philanthropic efforts are powered by Bitcoin.

Yusuf is also co-founder of Noones a Peer to Peer Bitcoin Marketplace recently launched. “The world’s Bitcoin messenger and marketplace”. His partner Nicholas Gregory is CEO of CommerceBlock.

How can kids change the world with Bitcoin?

Samantha has been a Bitcoiner for 12 years, she is part of the first generation to grow up with Bitcoin in their lives, with 12 years old she is younger than Bitcoin. Sam sees the world from a different perspective to those of us who grew up learning about how money works in the fiat world and she wants to share that perspective with the world, especially with other kids.

Samantha’s and his Dad Ben DeWaal have been in various conventions; she was a speaker last year in Adopting Bitcoin El Salvador 2022, her dad Benjamin is the Vice President of Engineering at Swan Bitcoin.

The Seed Signer is an Air-gapped DIY Bitcoin Signing Device that enforces a strict separation between private key storage and protocol software/internet, it calculates word 12/24 of a seed phrase based on user-provided values and calculates a full 24 word per seed phrase with 99 dice rolls, lowering the barrier cost of multi-sig security from several hundred to < $50 to create a secure, air-gapped DIY environment for private key generation.
