Microsoft might be searching for a new leader, but the company has enjoyed many a comic moment over the years between current CEO Steve Ballmer and former CEO and co-founder Bill Gates.
Those Jerry Seinfeld Microsoft advertisements started today. CrunchGear’s Doug Aamoth recorded the first ad during the Giants/Redskins game and put it up on the site. This is reportedly a $300 million ad spend. Seinfeld gets $10 million.
Fox News has just unveiled a breathtakingly ridiculous newsroom, complete with novelty-sized Windows-based touchscreens, a Twitter wall, and a wannabe Minority Report-style display, which it hopes will connect it with generations of viewers who use smartphones and apps.
It looks like the YouTube for Windows Phone saga is finally over: Google has forced Microsoft’s hand, pushing the company to revert the app to its previous all-but-useless state. Discussions between Microsoft and Google appear to have broken down, and now Windows Phone users have received the basic YouTube experience they had previously: a Web player.
Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer has revealed that the company is planning to bring Office to the iPad with a touch user interface. Speaking at a Gartner event in Florida today, Ballmer said "iPad will be picked up when there's a touch first user interface." That touch first interface appears to be making its way to the Windows version of Office first, with the iPad edition to follow afterwards. Ballmer noted the touch first interface is "in progress." Microsoft has previously released an Office version for iPhone without support for the iPad, noting at the time that tablet users could make use of Office Web Apps in the browser instead.

In some cases, Locket has seen individual users unlock their phones up to 900 times in a single day.
A lot of us come from small towns and remote places and find ourselves in big cities, maybe to live in ways we couldn't or shouldn't imagine. Once upon a time there was a horse, free and proud.
