Self-Improvement
Have you ever had the feeling that you don't matter? That you could disappear right now and the world would continue to spin as if you never existed?

Me too.

Actually I think we all feel that to some extent. While others around us seem to be changing the world by building schools in third world nations or walking across the country in their flip flops to raise money for a cause, the rest of us struggle to feel like we're making a difference.

It was that feeling of insignificance that had me pick up my family and move 1,200 miles away in an effort to run away from that feeling. Hoping life would be different in Florida.

And that's when I met Dick.

He is my neighbor. And unbeknownst to either one of us, he was my mentor. He showed me that anyone can make a difference in the world around them just by being kind. And compassionate. Authentic. And present. Grateful. And humble.

Dick changed my life. He change who I am as a person. And there are a lot more people out in the world just like him.

The purpose of the Be a Dick podcast is to shine a light on them. Those who are doing something to change the world around them. Give them the attention they deserve. And inspire you to do the same. To do something that makes a difference.

To be a Dick.
