The Cavs absolutely took it to the Knicks in game 2. Donovan Mitchell had a career-high 13 assists. Darius Garland finished the first half with 26 points, and had 32 in all. We saw Caris LeVert become the de facto fifth starter and pour in 24. Evan Mobley had a double-double, while Jarrett Allen had six offensive rebounds, three steals, and three blocks.
As the series shifts to New York, Cleveland has to feel a little better about their chances.

It's been a season to remember for the Cavs. On today's episode, we reminisce and celebrate the fact that this team can do what only three other teams have done in franchise history (dating back to 1970). The only years Cleveland advanced in the playoffs without LeBron James: 1975-76, 1991-92, and 1992-93.
The addition of Donovan Mitchell has helped in more ways than we could have ever imagined. A look at the significance of this season and what's to come.
